like all of our attackers, he is missing an idea of what to do when going forward. they all look like bambi on ice out there.

Yep, that front line is not gelling at all. Tiresome to say but goddamn we need a striker.

Kurto pls be ok

If he gets injured, it's Zac Jones on the bench right? Or would we pick up a loan like Spoonley

Haha I meant like how we picked up Spoonley in 2012-odd when Paston and Moss were out, rated him quite a bit. He's a lawyer or something now aye?

Two-week contract for Tamati Williams would be good as injury cover

Williams best man on the park so far. Burns intangible.
Kurto very solid and so worth a visa spot.
The system is working OK but we continue to be fairly clueless when we get the ball in the opposition's final third.

What a dumb way to take the wind out of our sails.

A soft own goal.  God I hope we don't lose this now, it would be such a dumb way to kill the momentum of the first half.

We should be 2/3 up. Not great but Adelaide are very poor and any A league side that has Lia in it obviously not going to be in the top 4.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Could do without the half time equality skit to be honest

Inequality boils down to a lot more than a penalty kick

Every little bit helps I guess, even if sometimes it's just a bit of showy stuff.

If it helps any kids feel more accepted, or feel like people care, then it's worth the effort IMO.

Can someone explain what happened at the start of the second half? Who got booked on the bench?

I like our attitude and hard running but in all honesty I think Adelaide have been very poor considering how much possession we have gifted them. Our ball retention is dire and our attacking combinations look ad hoc. As always I exist in a state of hope of a goal instead of expectation. A pity for Doyle that OG because he's been good so far.

We have so many back, but every week in areas in front of our backline they just have ACRES of space, and so much time.  So many goals seem to be coming from free players 25-30m out.  Our structure just seems so out of whack.  I really, really hate how we are set up and how we are playing.

Conceding around half time and late into the match is a Nix trademark by now - multiple coaches over multiple seasons and it's unbelievable it still happens with such regularity.

Ernie was right. Our system works well when we're leading the game or at least level but it's utter shark when we're behind

how can a team setup to play so defensively be so vulnerable to counter attacks.
