Not much to say tonight. We had things go our way, first goal miles offside, then a clear penalty not given , then good finishing for the second goal.

Roy did not have to be onside. It was a rebound off the keeper.
he was in an offside position when Kosta shot. Therefore offside. It was good to have one go our way
Clearly the ref did not see Roy as 'interfering with the play' when Kosta "unleashed" his shot. Roy picked up a rebound.
I am sure a different ref might have called it an offside.

• rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent
• been deliberately saved by any opponent
A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who
deliberately plays the ball (except from a deliberate save by any opponent) is
not considered to have gained an advantage.
A ‘save’ is when a player stops a ball which is going into or very close to the
goal with any part of the body except the hands (unless the goalkeeper within
the penalty area).
That's straight from the laws of the game. He definitely gained an advantage because he scored a goal.
It was an offside offence and the goal should not have stood.
