Is timing of goals really an attribute for a striker? A goal is a goal.
I was trying to say that strikers, whether it be Brockie or another Nix player, must regularly score important/significant goals. A goal in a 1-0 game, a winning goal in a 2-1, 3-2 etc game is an important/significant goal. It's not just a goal, it's a winning goal. The last goal in a 3-0 victory or a 4-1 loss is obviously not an important/significant goal
When any striker/attacking midfielder is through on goal, they must score on a regular basis.
Brockie had some appalling misses last season and does not look like a striker full of confidence in front of goal.
Nathan Burns has missed at least two important one-on-one chances through against the goalkeeper.
I'm not bagging either player, but over a season those chances, in tight games, are the difference between making the play-offs and/or securing a home play-off
