It's the principle if it was agreed upon and it's to do with family

What I don't get is why fly him home the afternoon before the match if it is an injury. Why not stay to watch the match and return with the team. Unless they always send the unwanted ones home the afternoon before the match.

It just doesn't add up to me to have this swift of a departure for just a thigh injury flare up.

Sorry to be off topic guys, but out of town for this match. Does anybody have a reliable site for live streaming it?

I think the idea is to give him more time to recover after the flight and hope to have him ready to face Sydney.

More time to recover, yeah ok. I'll buy into that. Would honestly be a big disgusted of the club had stitched him up regarding family, as I've always thought the club and playing group were very family oriented.

That was certainly the case in the early days (the Terry era), but hasn't had that vibe in the last few seasons.  Could be wrong but that's my Mabo-esque take on this.

Watch the game now...

Norwich City supporter since 1992, New Zealand supporter since 2010 but without Rory Fallon's winning goal against Bahrain, I won't know about New Zealand Football.
