Berisha now suspended for this after getting sent off against Roar. Excellent.

Will the Judiciary have time to overturn the red?

It should be overturned to be fair, there was nothing in that (from the angle I saw)

Is there time for a hearing though?

There wasn't much in Krishna's either.  To be fair, Berisha can have the game off. COYN!

There was way more in Krishna's one than this.

Berisha is due a few soft reds with some of the stuff he's gotten away with.

No Aussie would admit that.  You guys are too soft. ;)

Just how is Berisha gonna spend 85 minutes telling the referee how to referee the game if he is not on the field?? Not very thoughtful was it?

If Victory are desperate to have Berisha's red card overturned it must mean they are afraid of us

Normally the MRP meets on the Monday to hand out the bans and you appeal on the Tuesday. Guessing they will have to sit with urgency to rescind the red before kick off.

Moss

Tratt, Dura, Rossi, Doyle

WeeMac, Lia,

Finkler

Kosta, Krishna, Parkhouse

Not sure if Smeltzy's legs has it in them to play 2 games in 3 days, I will be happy with being proven wrong though. Smeltz/Watto could cause some trouble if all goes south, and Roly off the bench, still hasn't found top form this season, with rumours circulating about him leaving in January.

It's the million dollar question though, not easy naming a starting XI.

Fantastic to have Smeltzy and WeeMac back.

If only we could hold onto Bonevacia and this squad for next year! Not sure about Finkler though...but wait to see how he does in this newly confident set up .We now seem to have two starting fullbacks, a whole raft of attacking talent which knows its best position and a little depth at the back. Defensive mid cover/FB cover still an issue...

Ah well, even sweeter if we beat them with him.

For added pleasure, Rossi to get Berisha sent off.

Jeez, looking forward to that.  Roll on Tuesday.

Smeltz for Roy methinks so he will be good again for Roar game.  Greenie made it clear on TV3 that there is depth for players to be dropped.

The FFA must have read my message about how was Berisha going to tell the referee how to referee if he wasn't on the field. Whew, glad that's one problem resolved. Now we can look for to him spending most of the game in the referees ear and the rest of it flopping around on the ground like a freshly caught fish on a boat.

was not going to come on tuesday but the $10.00 ticket offer after the ccm game and a mate going to share the petrol made me change my mind.

on saturday i watched from the half way line for the first time in ten seasons, you get to see so much more from there but the atmosphere is a bit meh and you have to sit down.

Im not totally convinced by Doyle at left back. I realise that he's just signed a new contract but it seems that everytime i watch him play that he's not very quick and the only time he seems quick is hen a player has gone past him and he's very quick to attempt a shirt grab. Im happy to be proved wrong over time but.............................

I thought Doyle did ok on the weekend, never completely beaten for pace against Appiah and in our current squad I'm not sure there is anyone better.

Who would you play there instead?

Parkhouse seems to be a better winger than a true LB; anyone else?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Looking at the bigger picture though, it's far better this game's being played now than back in that messy period, when it became clear that our coach had to move on for the 'good of the team'.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.
