I'm excited to see how well Fenton is playing, seems like he has a new lease of life under Rudan. Especially good after those nasty injuries.

I agree, I thought he got chucked in the deep in and then abandoned during the Merrick era and didn't think we'd see him again in the A-League.  Rudan has done a genuine coaching job on him and that's fantastic to see.

loved seeing him score. He's been through a lot in his short career already, you'd have to be a cold bastard to not be happy for him. Local lad, had some horrible injuries, fell out of form, back as a starter in the a league and scoring. Fuc k yes Louis.

and he worked his butt off all day, which was why he was in the penalty area at that time anyway.

You say short career, but he's apparently played 95 A-League games already! Great to see him playing consistently and playing well.

Barring any unplanned non-appearances, when would his 100th game be?  If it is at home it would be great to give the lad a cheering reception when he comes out.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

He's actually only played 90 games for Nix in the A-League, 83 from 2012-17 and 7 since he came back.

If he was to play the next 10 games, his 100th would be against the Jets away in February.

Think this is what has impressed me most, his overall coaching. He's really taken the whole club under his wing and trying to carry out the changes we all knew were necessary. Not saying its all rosy, but it's a darn sight better than last season as a starter. Great to see kiwis playing well under him. Seems to be a genuine collective belief and desire to play for him.

no-one seems to be mentioning the "uncertainty about our licence". Almost as if that was a massive red herring and had nothing to do with how we were playing...
