I see Hersi is on. That's the left hand flank secured. Overrated

Yep, I think we'll be lucky to hang on for a point here.

This is the best I have seen Huysegems play. Some really good runs

Gee, anybody else but Boyd and that would have been a goal

FFS give it to Ifill.

he was offside. Play it, and we don't get the corner. That's smart.

Ok, didn't realise he was off. Was wondering why he didn't move . . .

I think a good performance against a top 3 team -no one had a bad game, tho i think Boyd gave the ball away a little too often when he came on, we weren't dominated at all -Im sure a win will come soon...

Christ, all we need is just one tiny bit of frigging luck to get this season rolling. We played OK but frankly we don't anything like top 6 material at this stage.

Almost exploded when Siggy teed up that shot at the end.

We deffo should have got 3 points there. It kind of confirms what I think about Huysegums. He worked hard and played bloody well but did he ever really look like scoring? I think we had the best chances and should have won but still lack some quality in the final third. Our defence was excellent, especially Fenton who played his best every game for the Phoenix.

Well that was frustrating wasn't it?  I just wish we had some luck or good fortune some times.  I think we played well overall and those Westies are a good side, no question.  No real negatives on our side, other than our ability to be clinical in front of goal. A point's a point, I guess, but it is so dissatisfying. My MoM was probably Muscat, ahead of Fenton and Sigmund. Ref was pretty bad, but not incompetent.  Can we have three points please?

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

Good one. Seriously though you are right. What I meant to say is I would just love it once we, a) won a game, b) dominated to the extent the result was never in doubt, c) contributed to 'goal of the season'.  Just once. Please.

Crowd was 7147 I think. Or similar number.

Just is not happening for us. We seem clueless in the final third and every cross is far too close to the keeper. We NEVER seem to pick out one of our own with a cross.

Carlos had a shocker and Lia wasn't far behind. Summed up second half by him miscontrolling an easy pass and falling flat on his face while giving the ball away.

Slightly unlucky right at the end but we really must create more clear cut chances if we are ever going to win a game.

Oh and the ref spoiled the game by blowing for every minor foul there was and booking almost the entire team.

Crowd was meh.

A fantastic day in the city. Was plenty of coverage in the build up.

Pretty disappointing really.

And there was some f*cking stupid music played during the football.  Hang the DJ.

7.5k or so. Pretty disappointing considering.

Thought Huysegems was poor again.

We dominated what I saw of the game (arrived 15 minutes in) until we made that rash of subs early in the second half. Ifill really the only one of those to contribute imho. Thought Cunningham was headless again. A slightly more cultured Pavlovic for me. Huysegems worse though and I'd start Cunningham instead of him when Brockie comes back, just purely for pace.

Boyd particularly poor when he came on. Not sure he's up to the level.

Durante or Sigmund for man of the match. Both of them top drawer today. Fenton much improved at right back too.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

To be fair, if you'd offered us a draw against last year's league winners in our second actual home game of the season we would all have taken it.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

It's no wonder people didn't show up - 2 goals in 4 'home' games so far. That's around 240 mins I've now seen in person since Stein scored on day 1.
