No Fans - No Football is a good one Brandon.

How about No Fans - No Customers! Fox etc understand the meaning of losing customers.

We are not customers.

We are stakeholders. Or, if you read Shirley Bright (and if you don't, then I urge you to) we are SHAREholders.

But I think we should make ALL of those banners. The more banners the better. With other clubs staging boycotts, but that not being an option for us with our licence on the line, I think we need to demonstrate that our not boycotting is NOT because we don't agree with the other fan groups in the argument with the FFA. Multiple banners, shown at different times throughout the match is a good way for us to do this. In my opinion.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

YELLOW FEVER STATEMENT

Yellow Fever would like to express their strong support for the protest action undertaken by fan groups across the A-League against the Football Federation Australia (FFA).

"We appreciate the stand other groups across the A-League are taking against the poor treatment of fans by the FFA and would like to publicly state they have our full backing" said David Cross.

The situation arises following a privacy breach of fan information leading to the publication of those details by a major Australian newspaper, as well as misleading statements from A-League and FFA executives on the banning of fans and appeals process.

"The FFA are acting as if they are above the law. There is no fair and transparent process in place in the league and a guilty till proven innocent mentality is damaging the already tense relationship with fans. The FFA are playing it fast and loose with not only fans' rights but the truth regarding their own processes" continued Cross.

"It has also been disappointing to see elements of the New Zealand media perpetuating the myths and inaccuracies in these articles and offering an uncontested platform for the misinformation from some Australian journalists."

"The fans are a key aspect of football and the fact that the FFA don't even view us as stakeholders in the game shows how out of touch they are. If they want to rebuild the sport, the league and its support base they need to start recognising that the customers are central to that and start appreciating the high quality fans the teams in this league have."

Despite our strong support for this cause the Yellow Fever are not in a position to take any boycott action at the Phoenix's home game this weekend in Auckland.

"With such a strong push from the FFA against our club's licence extension we feel continuing our fight against that decision is a priority for the Wellington Phoenix fans at this time. Fighting to ensure the treatment of the league's fans is fair and reasonable and is important to us all but will not mean much if we no longer have a club to support."

Sigh, this is the worst ON Season in history! Even Off season was more fun. The shark FFA destroyed the YF Forum! We should ban them! We should talk about tactics and how high we win, scapegoating Lia, what ever.

I hope we win, at least a draw, this is a very good side. We need a defensiv midfield overload and then send Krishna and Sarpong into the pocket of space to finish them off. Now is the time for Sarpong to show his class. I like to see Muscat to explode on the sideline, actually I don't want to see it, I like to imagine it while watching the replay of our goals.

What's the chances of obtaining Gilbert Enoka's services to work with the team - He's a legend with the All Black team working on there mental toughness on and off the field. I reckon Sarpong especially would benefit from this.

Excellent statement by the YF exec, however, I feel it is wasted on the FFA as I question their ability to read. Especially when it comes to human rights and one having to prove their innocence, instead of the FFA proving that persons guilt.

I am pretty sure the other fan groups will understand our position.

Would Roly be decent as a false nine - a little more central and higher up the pitch than where he starts most games? WeeMac instead of playing high and further towards the left would drop more into a CM position with Roy and Sarpong/other attacker our forwards. I just feel that Roly could do well there, being able to turn players while receiving the ball with his back to goal - drawing CDs out of position creating passing angles for our other forwards or forcing opposition DMs deeper and freeing up space in midfield. He probably won't get on the ball as much but think it could speed up our ball movement through midfield.

It could work I think, but I personally feel that Roly should be further back, in a deep-lying playmaker role so that he either gets more time and space in possession and/or draws opposition DMs out to unclog the pocket in front of their defence. Our wingerless formation means we are getting too clogged up in there. Of course, bringing a false 9 back in (either Roly or WeeMac) might help us create more space around there too.

Either way, we need to find some way to open up space in dangerous areas in the opposition half because we haven't looked great at it for a while (the game against the shambolic Adelaide aside).

Didn't know that. That's his football cred right there.

His standup is pretty good too, if you're a fan of quite harsh, inappropriate humour (Bill Hicks kind of stuff). Plenty of it on Youtube

LOL, no, you're getting confused. Our David Cross was the violinist in the mid-70s lineup of King Crimson.

FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Special event bus transport is included in your game ticket. Special event buses will operate to QBE Stadium from Auckland City Centre and Takapuna (via Northern Busway stations), and return.

I honestly can't believe that Fudgeland, where no-one can drive because there's too much traffic, can do this and Wellywood can't.

They used to do free game day travel for season ticket holders on Go Wellington, but that benefit was removed this season
