Hope everyone has been saving their pennies to buy drinks.

Wines -150ml pour start at $7.9 (house wine) and go up to $10.0.

Tap beer and cider - $8.70 - $11.50

Bottle beers - $8.20 to $14.90.

End of an era.  Vinnie - It's over.

I honestly can't believe that Fudgeland, where no-one can drive because there's too much traffic, can do this and Wellywood can't.

Wellington do it though. Free travel on Go Wellington buses on match day.

They used to but it wasnt listed on the benefits sheet this year.  Is it actually still the case?

If so I have been walking for an hour home for nothing like a schmuck.

They did it for the first few Knights games too, from Sky City to Nth Harbour - then dropped it because nobody in Auck wanted to catch a bus.

Things have changed since 2005, thankfully. Thank you, Len Brown, enjoy your retirement.

That is because you are going to the Merchant. Nice place but very expensive, I will probably go down to the Albany Pub and walk from there

I assume we're meeting in town somewhere before heading out to Albany.  Has that been arranged?

(Send me to relevant thread or earlier in this thread if all has been revealed - I'm being a bit lazy).

I know, I know, its serious!

I would take a 0-0 draw with the best team in the league. No doubt about that.

I simply do not get it, how can you not get grass to grow in Auckland in October / November.

Even down here at the moment my Lawns damn near need to be mowed twice a week.
