We gonna win 2-1, not without a little help from the referee who will controversially disallow an almost clear goal.
Somebodys gotta beat them sometime, might as well be us!

Ward, Rojas and Pav on bench. No toto in squad.

Great team selection for mine.

Lia will play out wide I assume in a 442 and Im glad DMac is partnering greeny. Daniel better work his ass off. I think we have a good shot at this!!
Hmm,that could be a problem.
Hopefully we see the" sweet through ball/nicely weighted cross Daniel" and not the" gay backheel/stranded out wide Daniel" who sometimes shows up for us.Fingers crossed

Reckon we've made the right decision resting some starters? I can't really see us winning, so I think we've probably done the right thing, bag the 3 at home

Agree - I'd be happy if we don't screw up our GD and leave with no injuries and red cards.

I'd be over the moon with a draw.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Don't forget 'Kosta goal'

And we've only rested two players really - Rojas and Ward. Our main creative threats so it'll be interesting where the incisive balls/runs come from, if anywhere..

Considering we normally play wide and with this team the only wide player is Daniel, who has no pace whatsoever and can't beat players anymore - we'll see how it goes...probably play down the middle a bit more.

This realization just crushed the hope I had for this game. D-Mac and Greeny will have to work hard upfront, yet also not drift to far wide. No worse sight then one of the two receiving the ball while hugging the touchline.

Could have been mentioned elsewhere, but it's Greenacre's fiftieth Phoenix game tonight.

Competitive games? How many games were there last season? 50 seems quite a lot but I guess that could be right, he hasn't missed many (any?).

Good decision to bench Ward and Rojas. Sunday is THE crunch game, and those 2 are key. Realistically 1-4 territory, but if they hang in for 60 mins, we have the goods on the bench to push for a point.
