I seriously think we should give Pav another go. He may still be raw but he's got pace and IMO he's got potential, so he's worth a try.

We need more than "potential" here.  Greenacre for the full 90.  We're not gonna get many chances against Roarcelona.  And he's the best finisher we've got.

We will get 1 or 2 chances (possibly just half chances) in the first 5-10 mins

We will then drop off and let the Roar play

The Roar will then dominate and knock in a few goals without any response

Same team. Even though Leo was just dreadful when he came on.

Sh*t just really didn't go our way against CCM, we needed one of those first three chances to go in then we weren't chasing the game. Same thing needs to happen against Brisbane, except one has to go in.

Leo's career is seemingly in the twilight zone. He's lost a bit of pace and his willingness to run at players is beginning to waver. He's never been a big goal-scorer either. I hope he proves me wrong.

Anything we get out of this one is a bonus, given how the Roar are going...but being a Phoenix optimist, maybe this being the game in our season where we've probably gone in thinking "sh*t, we're realistically gonna be done here", the team turn in a sterling performance.

One thing that could prove a weakness for the Roar (especially against good teams) is if they fall a goal down. When they've gone down, they haven't been able to exert the same amount of dominance on the opposition - and usually have had to settle for equalizers and no more. Though, given our record when we concede the first goal, it makes you think how good they are even when they have their backs against the wall.

give Greenie some credit, he's played his best fiooty for us when he's had a big target man up front with him - by himslef he struggles but still wins more ball than he really should....I'm happy with BigMac up front at the moment with Ward and Rojas out wide, but I think we certainly need to score early against Brisbane and then shut up shop.

roar are more arsenal than barcelona in the games i've watched lately - dominant in possession, attractive passing triangles and one touch balls, but horribly wasteful in front of goal (Kosta as guilty as anyone, if not the worst)

here's hoping that continues and we manage to nab one or two scrappy goals

on the greenie up front thing (this one never ends around here), i still reckon ifill up top as our target man before he got injured was the best, he was classy there and always dangerous
