I am the same as Zephyr - no tickets again today !

Looks like we have to call Ticketek again tomorrow and try and get hand written tickets for the weekend

Man this is BS.  I ordered my season pass right after the first game of the season, saying specifically I want to be in the YF zone, and today I get a letter from Ticketek saying:

"Due to overwhelming demand we're printing more season passes, here are tickets to the next two games in the meantime."

Now that I thought was fair enough, but I looked at my tickets and they're in Aisle 24!?  That's nowhere near the YF zone... wtf!

Same for me and mine today.  Except we got ours in Aisle 22.  Luck of the draw?

they model them off the wgtn rugby season pass and all, so the printer would already have a template set up, just a few changes to make and go so why did it take so long ? still it's over now (for me )

Pretty sure Wellington Rugby is Ticketmaster... not Ticketek

Ticketmaster for Lions, Ticketek for Hurricanes. You'd think the WRFU would stick with one agency

Do they say Phoenix level season pass anywhere on them? I ask this because we also got ours yesterday but they say gold on the back (we have gold seats) and I am just wondering if there is any difference? We paid for Phoenix level season passes but have nothing that actually says that anywhere (we have recieved the wrist bands tho - totally seperately and weeks ago!).

Our season tickets arrived yesterday, and were for the right seats in yellow fever zone. See you all Sunday!

Mine say Phoenix member Lnge Member on the back along with my surname, adult, Aisle, row and seat number, + Ac no. - Don't see the word 'gold' anywhere on the back or front6 of the card. Hope this helps

The phoenix have set in stone what they want from ticketek. The problem is they have set up a sub office at ticketek just for the Phoenix and regional branches dont know there arse from thier elbow when it comes to dealing with seating requests. I used to always go to the the little ticketek stall in cable car lane in the book shop. They were always really helpfull and quick.

Is that outlet still there?

Got my pass yesterday after buying it on the Friday before the first game.  Even got the seat I left a message asking for.

If only the other one that we paid for turned up as well.

Called the Phoenix membership line, the other one should arrive today

Just a quick ticket question...

Can you use eftpos when walking up and buying tickets before the game?
Permalink Permalink
over 18 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Yes, but you're far better to have cash ready.  As at all games/events the eftpos line is always long and slow.....

I'd also recommend heading there around 1-2pm, buying your tickets and then coming to the Bencher knowing you're sorted.

Alright after the stewards exerted their authoritah on me for standing in the YF zone, I decided I don't want to put up with that -_- for the rest of the season, so I called ticketek to confirm that my season pass was in the right place.  And sure enough NO IT WASNT.  If I hadn't acted I would be stuck with Aisle 24 seats for the whole season, so it was a good thing I contacted them and got it sorted.

They also said "we haven't sent your season pass out yet anyway", which in my case was lucky, but I did order it right after the first home game so nice delay guys XD

They gave an ETA of 'couple of weeks', but effectively i just renewed my order so it may take a while.

----
Just got a callback from the girl (Vienna) that I talked to before, she said that they have to change my seat for the next game to my new seat as well, so looks like I'll be spared the steward-dodging XD

My seat wasnt put with my mates which is all a bit crap. I will be steward dodging for the whole season i reckon.

hopefully the stewards will chill out once they understand a football crowd - I think they were a different company providing security at the game from the previous game?
If all the seats are the same price and the stadium is only a quarter full then who cares where a person sits (so long as it's not someone's pre-allocated seat)?

And I  didn't see the Newcastle Jet fans getting hassled for standing / being in the wrong seats .....

The problem was some people were in others seats and were'nt prepared to move, and even gave them a verbal earbashing for suggesting they should. If they arent your seats at least have the courtesy to move on and not abuse the people who's they are.

A dog with a bone :)

Booked 9 season tickets on18 July - they arrived 8 Septmber - you have to wonder what Ticketek were doing for those seven or so weeks!

Thats it in a nutshell, thats was the only reason they the stewards were getting wound up, that and more people in the rows than seats. Health and safety and all that. Like I've said before we got an earful from a bloke who was reluctant to move.

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone could tell me if you need to produce ID every time you use the season pass at the game?  Im asking this because my girlfriend was going to purchase a season pass but can't attend a couple of games, and I was going to use it on those occasions so I dont have to buy a seperate ticket.
