Pretty sure we don't get the 1st game live, or delayed coverage of it..actually i don't see many delayed games. MAybe i'm not looking hard enough

Sky guide is out of date and incorrect as it goes to print. even thier website is unreliable up to 24 hours away from some events.

Just realised the first 3 Nix games are on at the same time i'm playing my own football :( f**king Sunday games, I hate them.

Due to the very fluid nature of sport, changes can occur for many reasons such as change in start times, durations of live events, cancellations, postponements, technical faults, taped events not arriving on time or faulty when received as well as changes received on a daily basis from either the host broadcaster or supplier of events sent through to us via satellite feed.

Sky will endeavour to schedule LIVE A-League matches where ever possible but please be aware that with the amount of LIVE and Delayed Sport that we receive this makes it very difficult. For updated info and scheduling for events please visit our website www.skytv.co.nz, or check your EPG (electronic programming guide) for any changes.

First game will be between Melbourne and Central Mariners on Friday 7 August Delayed at 11.30am.

Just had a look, they have 3 replays of the  first phoenix game scheduled over sunday/monday
After that they are playing the same two games repeatedly all week (NQF v Syd & Nix v Newcastle)

Sky are obviously quick to forget that its football that got them off the ground over here in the first place all them years ago, and also when they did the big switch over to digital was it any small coincidence that suddenly all football was showed on the new digital sky sports 2 etc..? richierich82009-07-29 18:34:38

Just to rub it in FOX SPORTS all A-League games live, plus EPL games live. Not finished yet, plus the English Championship games LIVE.

Very disappointed if the Sky guide is correct.  I used to watch all the games, it was great being able to know that there was always going to be A-League on.   And I have to say, watching goalfests in the non-Phoenix games was often a lot more enjoyable than the pull your hair out can't pass a ball Phoenix games.

sky television coverage of football in this country is rubbish

I can't understand why they would play the NQF vs Sydney at 7.30 on a Saturday. (Prime Tiem i would have thought, with plenty of NPC) and Yet on a Thursday night, with nothing on they fail to show the opening Match?  Weird.

this is pathetic protest?

So where to from here? One or two emails won't make much difference. HN anything planned?

PS: As expected, pre-game show has been canned - coverage starts at 5pm for the Newcastle game on Sunday 16th.

Dear Allen, we here at Sky are quite proud of keeping our heads buried in the sand. After all we know every New Zealander would literally kill to get home and watch a game of Rugby from the distant past. Moving to Sydney next year looks even more promising, just for Foxtel. Live Coca Cola Championship games, superb. Have both Phoenix and Colchester win the league this season, get to watch them both on the tele next season.
