Thanks for the link to the highlights. Some nice goals from both sides, the LA keeper looked awful!

The whole backline looked awful, that 4th goal was horrendous defending, beckham gave away a shocker of a pass for the second, and the keeper looked worse than amateur in the third goal, hell I could've saved that shot !Lysergic_Bliss2007-11-28 09:59:01

You forgot to factor in the Moss effect. Beckham will score one goal against us, while Mossy will save everything else. Smeltz will more than compensate for the one concession

could be the highlight of mossy's career if he manages to save a well-place Beckham free kick ...

That is assuming that Moss will play. I wouldn't be surprised to see Paston or even Spoonley in goal. Just to give them some game time.

It's a pretty big day... I suspect that if Moss wants it he'll get the start.

Being able to say you played against Beckham and Donovan would be pretty cool so he'd have first refusal.  Wouldn't be suprised to see a half time change though.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Yeah a half time change to let a few more goals in.

Hopefully. If not, you should be able to catch it on Guandong Sports

It  was such a strange game to watch. It felt as though it was scripted, it was so fanciful and free.  Entertaining as hell, too!

When Becks dollied his ankle, I had this mental image of him looking to the sideline aching to come off, only to see the substitution sign blocked by a team of Sydney FC lawyers wearing suits and sunglasses, the smallest of whom holding the "55 minutes of game time" contract and shaking his head defiantly .

I don't think it is unfortunately. Damn aussies. At least they screen all the A-League Phoenix matches.... Only because aussie teams are involved though..

I only saw the highlights and the end of the game, but I honestly think the gap would've been much wider if they'd left Bolton on, he would've saved at least one of the two goals LAG scored in the second half IMO. I understand why they made the swap as obviously the game doesn't count for much.

They'll do the same here no doubt, Moss 1st half, Paston second.

Or Spoonley - be good to give the kid a run too.  Would love to see Costa and Draper get on also.  I guess everyone who gets stripped will get on - they're allowed 10 subs apparently.

Moss would have plucked it from the air with one hand and still have had time to smile for the photo

well you see, someone told the ball to go into the top corner before Beckham kicked it. Corrupt bastards.
I like tautologies because I like them.
