I was watching the delayed game but have turned it off in disgust, that was worse than embarrassing. Not one player can come off the field with their head held high they were all terrible.
Two games and two inexcusable performances, they are going to blow their chance of getting to the finals if they don't watch it.

I'm not sure what was going on there - Melbourne have (arguably?) the best midfield in the HAL. They are also known for not playing with any width. So what do we do? try to beat them at their own game, straight up the middle and we get well and truely shown up. Some damn slick passing by Melbourne, not helped by the Nix for some reason that defies belief, not playing their natural game.
WHEN we play well and WHEN we score, it is from effectively utilising wide positions, either playing the ball in or with wide players cutting in with ball at feet, drawing defenders away from players making runs. Its never up the middle.
