Curse of the Jambo continues, still no Season Ticket

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Me either although Domestar has been helping to find out what's going on (thanks for that BTW) and it looks like mine may have been lost in the mail. Ticketek reckon mine went out with the first batch so should've seen them about the same time everyone else started to receive theirs, but alas no such luck.
You should call them and get things in motion before it really becomes an issue i.e the day before kickoff

At this late stage, I'd say you might get lucky and get them in time for the first home game on the 13th.

However, if it's middle of next week, and still nothing in the mail, get on the phone to Phoenix membership line, to get paper tickets sorted.

that is terrible - weren't we about 2k in the first season?  With the success of the team last season and the hype from the world cup, I would have expected around 5,000

I think we will see higher crowds this season  - especially if we get off to a good start results wise and get some momentum going.

However it's a big leap for many from attending a few more games to committing to a season ticket. It may take another season or two to convert more frequent attendances to a season tickets.

Although I think the prices are very reasonable it is still a not insignificant sum for many to pay out in one go and taking kids to games isn't cheap (food and drinks). There are also still plenty of people with job uncertainty, battling businesses etc.

P.S. If we have increased from 2.5k to 3.0k that's 20% - not to be sneezed at. I bet Wellington rugby would be more than happy with any increase.

Still -it's a modest increase in membership.

4-5k should have been achievable I would have thought.

the other side of the coin is that only 500 people who live in Wellington and attended the Bahrain game and/or the finals series last season thought that they are committed enough to get a season ticket.

A good start to the season will see decent crowds continue all year, but a poor start to the season could have us back scrambling around for 7,000 for home games, with the club losing money each week (especially if we get the marquee player everyone is craving).

Yep - winning builds momentum and excitement and attracts the discretionary crowd.

Human nature - people love winners - so let's hope we get off to a flier.

And we're still a minority sport supporter-wise despite the numbers of people playing the game.

It is a lot of money upfront, but per game (13-15 depending on if you can make the ChCh one) it is very competitive with other events.

Ricki has to take the lads to the Grand Final this season - that might convince the public that this is a team worth shelling out money for.

Four numpties and I finally ordered our season tickets for the fever zone today. After three years in aisle 23 I am looking forward to getting in amongst it!

By the way, I was very impressed with the ticketek customer service. Three renewals and two new members processed in less than five mins.

When did you order?
When did they ship?

Btw I'd rather pay an extra $5 next year and have the option of them being couried. Then if they don't turn up and we ask them they can look and see exactly what the status is rather than saying 'they were sent out'

If the order is 'closed' i think its been processed. If u go to order history or something and it has seat numbers then its been processed. I'm not sure if processed means shipped. I guess not since its been 10 working days since ours got processed and no mail yet

The manufacturer of the cards will do runs every few weeks as it won't be economically viable to just run a small number of cards each day.  They have said that if you ordered by today you'd have a ticket before bext Friday so I imagine they'll do them over the weekend and you'll have them during the week.

We can only hope. It would be awesome for the club to get the 3500+ members they were looking for.
