Due out in the 4-6 weeks.  Tony stated they want to boost their numbers to 5000.

Personally, I'd like to see the club do a 'half-a-season' membership to try latch onto some fans who can't make every game. Something like a pass that gives you entry to 5 or 6 home games of your choice.

I like the half-a-season idea. I'm keen to get a membership, but as I don't live in Wellington, I'm not sure if I can make it to all the games. If I move down, however, I'd be there for every game.

When does the season start up again?

Half a season membership would have been great for me and the younger generation. But I ended up going to the majority anyway. Just had to be 'sick' from work a few days.

Looking foraward to memberships. Good idea to get them out while there is still that buzz

Kind of like a clip ticket on the buses. You save 10% by buying a 5 game pass. I just think the ticketing systems are too simple to handle it. Great idea though.
When does the season start again?

Its no longer a problem.

I would like to see a non-tickted member option. for those out of town that can only go to 2-3 games a year. Say pay $50 to become a member, get a bumper sticker, club magazine?, key ring and a mebers cap or something similar

They did those. Benchwarmer memberships, which were basically all the stuff that members get without the tickets to the game. There was also an option for a Benchwarmer membership with a ticket to one game.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'd pick up a benchwarmer and I'm sure all the out-of-towners on here would as well.

The half games option is a fair thought, but from a club perspective not going to work. They are there to maximise profit. If you had this option, and say half of the current season members (unsure of numbers, lets say 3500 total) dropped off and took up this option- leaving 1750 full members, 1750 half members (and by that I dont mean midgets).

Lets say we pick up an additional 1750 half members- the club now has 5250 full members- awesome- but the same level of revenue. Net profit will be decreased due to higher administrative costs (ie higher expenses)- so although there may be more members, costs are relatively greater.

The Benchwarmer worked as it was different enough to a full membership- so you are not going to be thinking should I go to two games, or should I go to 11- whereas if you are thinking should I go to six games or should I go to 11- there is every chance one will think, I might be busy a couple of weekends- Ill just get the half membership and look at getting extra tickets if I need.

I would like to see them not include the home/away game in the cost. Many people are unable to travel to those games and maybe they can offer a discounted price if members wish to travel to those games.

Oh yeah and give us a pin or badge with our membership.

Well they kinda did last year, the two extra games went on the road but they charged the same amount for season tickets as the season before. Seemed fair enough to me.

Yes but if they took those off it may encourage even more to get a season pass.

There were 11 homes games at ROF this season, the same amount as the previous season and you paid the same amount for a season ticket. The games away from ROF were free if you were a season ticket holder.

What does that entail? Last season there wasn't even a 'pack' with the season pass so I can't see what would be in a benchwarmer pass?Arsenal2010-03-15 15:54:50

I couldnt purchase one last year as i'm a poor student but still  ended up going to like 6 games plus the play off's ( should have really brought one). However this year i have already put the money away for it. Theres 6 of us that are going to buy them together. Will we be able to get 6 season tickets in the zone together or is it to full.

The zone is such that even if you can't buy them together it shouldn't be too hard to sit together.

Not really.  Mully doesn't even make the bench. Boom!

I think I will get my act together and purchase a membership this year.

What they should also do is offer half season tickets halfway through the season. If we are doing well, a half season ticket could attract a few more fans in. It's an idea that seems to work quite well back home.
