definitely, the best ever pod,

Not 4 guys sitting around a table tickling each other's balls

A difference of opinion

More of that

A bit harsh don't you think? Besides I think they quite regularly voice different opinions on the pod

Reminder that there is no new pod this week. No football to talk about from the weekend, and it turned out to be very hard to get at least three of us in a room together at any point this week.

Darn, I had nearly recovered enough to listen to a pod. Oh well, next week...

When's the pod out!, looking forward to this one.

sometime this evening, I didn't get a chance to edit it last night after we finished recording.

I think it's one of our best episodes yet.

You mentioned you watched at 4Kings, but no follow up on last episode's cliffhanger around Patrick's date. Did the other party make it to the bar? Did the Nix's performance affect Patrick's chances of another date? Or did Patrick have to produce a dodgy ticket for credibility's sake?

Where's the consistency & continuity?

Disappointing

I think the fact we didn't discuss it at all is an indication on how it went.

New pod.

Another game, another loss. The pod does their civic duty by mentioning the 4-1 loss to WSW, before previewing a potentially depressing trip to Auckland. Elsewhere, Fritz has announced his first All Whites squad to take on Canada, the Ferns went down 2-0 to Scotland twice, and the Handy Prem regular season wraps up this weekend.

Well done guys./ You deserve to have a good day out (and night) in Auckland. Nice burger bar recommendation. For breakfast my fav is Revel café on K Road.

We have Phoenix interim head coach Chris Greenacre joining us on the podcast tonight. Send through your (sensible) questions before 6pm today and we'll try and ask them all.

What coaching badges has he got?

Is he able to tell us anything about the clubs search for a new coach?

Is he interested in being an assistant to the new coach?

Burns made comment in his recent interview that the team were unable to maintain the high press against the Wanderers due to fitness. Does Greeny believe the team's fitness levels aren't what they should be for this stage of the season? If so why not?

Not really an accusation.  He's not be involved in the first team so their fitness levels wouldn't have fallen to him.  Think the game on Saturday showed a significant increase in athleticism

Edit: Them to Him

New pod! http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts

Chris Greenacre joins the podcast to chat about everything Phoenix - from the 1-0 loss against Newcastle in Auckland right through to the crop of players who could make the step up from the WeeNix. The All Whites are taking on Canada, and we are into the Handy Prem semifinals with TeeDubs taking on Canterbury at home after getting out of jail very late against Hamilton.

Good chat with Greenie. Pod was much more positive this week than the last few and I enjoyed that.

I quite rate Greentaker ay. I think thats very witty. But I dont love it as much as I love flame machines. We need more flame machines!

About that.

I know a few ways to do this on the cheap (H&S be damned). Hit me up :)

This is the only sort of flame machine they're going to allow into the stadium is one of those ones that they use as props in community productions made out of ribbons and a fan.

I only just got to this. He sounds like he really loves the club. Please Welnix, if it's not Greenacre chosen for the coaching gig, make sure the new coach has a desire to recreate the happy times for Wellington :(

Sounds like Chris may give his CV in at the very last minute, though!!

Yes, surprising to hear that the course has been delayed for so long. I hope FIFA gives them a stir up for that.
