Hi My Name is Eduardo but use Eddie for short I'm looking to come to NZ to play in The ASB Prem. was wondering if you guys could watch my highlight video of a league game in Brasil back in 2011 and please let me know what you think and if I could stand a chance in NZ please. Honest opinion would be really appreciated. Thanks for your time. Here is the link:https://www.facebook.com/217243341639698/videos/vb.217243341639698/999439403420084/?type=2&theater

The clip didn't demonstrate that you are as good or any better than anyone we already have playing here. Can't see you being picked up by an ASB Prem side based on your film. Anyway, come over and try your luck, plenty of places to play and you will find the right level quickly. Good luck.

Ryan de Vries came here in 2008 and is 23 so is surely eligible for NZ (unless the stints at Bentleigh count as breaking his residency). In any case, if he's got a NZ passport he counts as a NZer as far as the A-League is concerned.

I thought he sat out his time to become eligible. Thats what Dunkin Donut Glyn Taylor said...

That's harsh on Bertrand in my view.

So you disagree with what I said or how I said it? You are free to provide different feedback to him, that's what he asked for.EDIT; Hang on, I see what you did there....

Any of you who are on Twitter, if you want to help us keep on top of the Kiwis Overseas section just tweet details of performances, or links to videos or match reports or results, or tweets from Kiwis who are overseas to the hash tag #KiwisOverseas

We review it before each pod (amongst other sauces too) and it's a helpful way for us to log interesting stuff from earlier in the week.

I thought Cam was pretty much on top of Kiwi's Overseas for us?

He thanked me for posting #KiwisOverseas stuff Patrick. It's one of the things he uses to be on top of it. More people posting to it can't possibly hurt can it?

It's a good idea from Brandon though Patrick.

A little extra croud-sourcing could make Cam's job easier. Cam can still ignore anything he doesn't want to include on the podcast.

Thoughts on getting a guest? Maybe Ifill after he played them today? Love to hear his opinion on the back three.

I also think we should get Jojo in just to read out the All Whites squad. She was reading it in the car on the way home and it was mildly amusing. When I threatened to get her in to read it out on the pod she suddenly remmbered she was busy on Tuesday night...

The recording gear is all portable right? Just say you can do it at her earliest convenience, wherever, whenever.

Hard to get Ifill on when he lives in the Wairarapa now and recording is done midweek.  Also his missus is recovering from a back injury whilst horse riding so he's got kid duty too.

Having said that we have technology like phones and skype. We interview people in Australia, so Wairarapa wouldn't be prohibitive...

Depends if its an interview or a guest podder.  Interview is easy, guest from Ifill not so much

I wouldn't want to drive 4 hours (there and back not including rush hour traffic) after a full day at work with a baby at home, or one on the way, or recovering from shoulder surgery; to get there during his kids dinner/bed time, and record for 1.5 hours.  Not including that these guys will be paying there own petrol and their time is voluntary.  Not so easy really.

If you did a weekend record though, that could work
