David Williams - well spoken that man at the end of the game. The Fox Sports dude was fishing for him to have a go but he didn't take the bait. Kudos - seemed a good dude.

Indeed, smug was the wrong word. More like guarded. It's not the first time he's had the look on his face tonight either.

David Williams is a class player and seems like a top bloke too. Was hoping they would interview a complete nutter like Ufuk Talay after the match. Would've had some magic quotes.

Makes up for us having sh*t calls earlier in the season then?

I thought at first it was over, but on the closer replay, I don't think 100% of the ball was over the line. Much like the Elrich call with the Jets.

So, suck it up, official made a call, this time it went our way.

Overall, was disappointed with the team performance, the weather not helpful, but Siggy made some great tackles.

Screw em, we needed that point more than they did. No way are they going to the finals. Nice to see that they gave the crowd a good show. hopefully they can keep themselves alive for next year!

It's not like your team has been singled out is it?

We played better first half; Furries scored. They murderised us second half; we scored. Football's not fair.

My MOM - Vuko by a mile (and this coming from Mark Paston's imaginary girlfriend), although that "goal that wasn't" would never have happened if he hadn't fallen asleep for five minutes.

My Question of the Match - what match were YOU guys watching where Rojas did anything at all in the first half apart from give one dodgy pass to Big Mac, which you of course blamed on "the Donkey" because the Golden Child can do no wrong?

Ricki's Biggest Mistake - not starting Dura. We started to look like we knew what we were doing at the back once he was on. Ward for Lia next game, surely.

Yes, there are much less deserving teams in the A-League.

Well that sucked...

1 point from a scrappy game. TBH the Fury are shiite and we played down to their level. Some of our guys went missing in action....greenie did zero apart from getting offside 5 times. hearfield, Leo and Lia also had poor games. We really lacked pace up front. Not sure why they never passed it to Rojas in the first half

Durante looked filthy on the bench...if looks could kill. Not sure why he was benched. After all he is the skipper and our best defender.

No way the assistant could have given that goal...how could he have seen it through the mass of bodies on the line....its a NON controversy

We didn't play down to their level - we _are_ their level without Ifill.

Bloody gutting, needed that win. I'm pretty pissed with Ricki to be honest.
Decides not to change a winning team, but changes the winning formation which was the key to the success. Should have had Dura the whole time, should had 4-4-2 the whole time. Now we really have to beat the Victory.
Man of the match= Siggy.
The rain wet everyone else while the rain got Siggyed.
(and therefore by extension, as the rain wet everyone else, everyone got Siggyed.)
