I'm craving some really good Mexican, do you recommend it for the food?

Seems like most fans are more interested in the booze and eats places than the football.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Well if the food is sh*t, you can pretty much bank on the tequila...

I have not eaten at El Camino... they opened just as I was leaving Kingsland for Wellington. But I would not be surprised if it was quite good, because to survive on New North road in kingsland you have to be... the standard is very high.

Our group will be having dinner at Mekong Neua - in my opinion the best Thai/Laotian restaurant in New Zealand.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Have eaten once at El Camino- was good. Have had entree taco, and another time a burrito. also like the bohemian beer. Mekong is good. Canton is good, but a tad expensive if you are going there smashed before hand. lamb burgers at kiwiana are my girlfriends fav if you are flying student class.... plenty of damn options, fill your boots.

Re. Canton... it is bloody good. However to get the best from it you need a group of 8 or more I think, and get one of the massive round tables with a the lazy susan... the chaos, the clatter, the sharring the dishes, the hub-bub... that's what makes it a spectacular dinning experience... with 3 or 4 it's kinda just Chinese. Good Chinese, no doubt, but it's just not the madness of Canton Cafe at its best...

It's actually pretty good as far as stadium food goes in New Zealand. For example, you can get Sushi, and Subway, and roast Lamb rolls and stuff... It's pricy (It's stadium food) and there's still WAY too much chips, and pies and stuff.

It's not as good as the food at Belrieve Oval in Hobart, but by NZ standards it's not the worst at all.

See you guys in a few hours. I'll be the one in the Nix scarf and the T-shirt with the picture of a cat saying something rude on it.

Beautiful Auckland day, Bike ride, then had an early latte, now off to lunch in Remuera. might slip down to Grey Lynn to the festival and on to the hallowed turf from there

Fair to say Willie Lose isn't too keen on the Phoenix at Eden Park.

Trying to avoid any mention of it...drunk rugbyheads, triathlon, womens rugby...anything but "soccer"...

"They'll be lucky to get 10,000"!!!

"THe Wellington Phoenix vs tHe Adelaide 36ers...what are they called"?

Phoenix starting today: Warner Muscat SigmUnd Durante Lochhead Brown Lia Smith Bertos Ward Greenacre
Phoenix Subs: Paston Griffiths Ifill Daniel

AdelaideUtd starting: Galekovic Boogaaed McKain Cassio Caravella Vidosic Djite Watson Dilevski Ramsay Usucar
Adelaide subs: Malik Ricardo Barbiero Munro

It will be good to see Ifill running at players again! I hope he's not too rusty from sitting on the physio's table for the last few weeks. It's also good to see Vince Lia back in the starting XI. A midfield of:

Ward                                          Bertos
                           Brown
                Lia                      Smith

Looks pretty good to me. Excited!
