The correct phrase is: "Kudos to you News.  I will buy you a beer (or scotch) when I am next in town."

Actually just out of curiosity - I know you have been coming to Nix games here for the past few seasons, but the last time we played you in Wgtn (3 seasons ago?) there were a small group of reds and one of them had a football pattern in his no 1/2 haircut.  Was that you?

There's a Dunkin' Donuts on Queen Street, if that's close enough.

Also, we're a happy team at Hawthorn.

thoughts on having a few fizzies at the Viaduct (Foxes) and taking the train out?

There will be a gathering at Macs Neighbourhood bar in Kingsland (a short walk from the Kingsland rail station) for anyone who does start in the viaduct and then take train to Kingsland... Train rides can be thirsty work, afterall.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Meh.

Would rather shorter stagger than train logistics.

I've spent a large chunk of time frequenting the Clare Inn last couple of weekends on Dominion Road. Good venue with the added bonus of an easy stumble pre and post match to Wendys for Baconators!

Okay, fair enough... wasn't aware of that - hadn't seen any announcements, and was just going by what seemed to be the gist int he forum... wherever it ends up being then... I have a mate picking me up at the airport at 2.30pm, and will just rock up wherever wherever is designated to be.

In the meantime, you don't happen to know where the fever zone is designated as at the park do you? Got mates in Auckland waiting to buy their tickets...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

What about afterwards? The game will be finished by 7pm which is a serious amount of after-match to be had.

Permalink Permalink
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
I had assumed that afterwards would start off whereever before hand was... with maybe a migration to the viaduct at some point, as decided by the mood of the herd?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

We will be walking from Western Springs Rd about 1.5 km away - should pass by the Kingslander.  Will wave out as we go by.
