Ok next games against Adelaide, where a win win be the very thing we need to catapult us up the table.

Apart from the loss last night. We saw a lot of really good stuff from everyone really. Even Lia and DMac linked up for a quality goal. So hopefully morale isn't too low.

Line ups are interesting, I would play North at RB, and Bring in Leo for Daniel I guess.

Just makes the bench an interesting prospect now.

With picks from Greenacre, Mac, Daniel and Rojas on the bench; it'd be pretty hard to drop anyone at this point.
But competition for places is always good

A lot of good signs from last night even though on paper we got spanked. One of the only games we've lost this year where we haven't deserved it.

The biggest question is, if Leo is fit does he start? My vote is yes, ahead of Daniel who hasn't done enough to keep his spot.

I'd agree with the above and I'm going to get in early and say in the highly likely event of a loss let's not get all immature and call for Ricki's head, say we're terrible and will finish last, and bring to the attention of newspapers more unpaid debts of Terry or whatever some of you whingers on here do.  Adelaide are a quality side despite some of their injuries.  I would be over the moon with a draw.

Am very excited about this game. We played pretty well last night just need to work out what the hells going on up the back and make use of all the balls we managed to get so close to the goal.
Anyone know what PAX is???

yip bertos in for daniel would be my change.

I think we've been playing the best football with Rojas and greenacre on the pitch in more of a 442. But lets keep whats working.

2-1 come from behind victory, with siggy to score two headers.

how about Ilill on the left, Rojas on the right and greenie up front   with bertos on the bench]

once again, rojas has proven what he can provide to our team, for the 10-15 minutes after he came off the bench, the phoenix really dominated. hes got some great touches on the ball and a willingness to run at the opposition, he should be started, with daniel on the bench. daniel a lot better when hes playing 20 mins at end of game than he is playing the first 60 or so

Mmm yeah I'd lean towards a Rojas start, but I don't mind how Ricki is easing him into it. He has suffered an injury recently, and i liked that he got a full 35 mins last night. He would be up to a start, but I think if Leo is back, he should get the nod. He's gonna feel the pressure now so hopefully he'll put on a good performance.

I'm pretty sure the RoF Pax includes season tickets so if a season ticket holder doesn't turn up then attendance will be less than Pax.

I guessing that season tickets won't be included in the ChCh Pax - the assumption being the match day ticket you get when you show your season ticket has its own Pax.

Long way of saying I think the ChCh Pax should be a lot closer to actual attendence.

With nearly 8k as at yesterday hopefully it will end up being 12k+.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Santa Parade is on Sunday so if you're going to the Canterbury game I suggest you go earlier and some roads are likely to be closed in town...

Also some Nix players should get on a float and advertise the game would help the walk up crowd quite a bit I think. Might be cutting a little close to game time tho

Flying down Saturday evening. Very excited.
We are going to unleash one of these days - probably not Sunday as Adelaide is a classy outfit, but it won't be far away.

Will be disappointed if I don't come home with a round yellow blob sticker.

I know, I know, its serious!

A few weeks ago i would have said yes, but i think he's settled back down, and is playing pretty well. Saved us from some pretty dismal looking scoresheets recently.

So.. here's my preferred squad:

                      Paston

Hearfield     North            Durante        Musa

                      Muscat

Bertos                                       Ward

                      Brown

               Ifill      Pav / D Mac

Subs:
Sigmund
Rojas
Greenacre

Pav / D Mac so we can use their height, and Ifill can pick up the ball as it comes down.

Greenie to come on for Brown, early second half, as last match Brown was pretty mush playing as another striker. ifill to drop back into Browns role, and Greenie working off Pac / D Mac.

Rojas to sub on for Ward or Bertos, whoever is off the pace too much and not creating enough chances.

Musa to start, i really want to see his throw in used against the reds. Siggy to come off the bench for Musa if the pressure gets too much, pushing North wide and Siggy into the middle.

3 - 1 to the Nix.

Mucsat to score from outside the box off the left boot.

I have concerns with ward, on Wednesdays game he gave the ball away so often, he would pass to the opposition more than his own players.
Not the first tim ethis season either that his passing has let us down.
Would have Siggy in the middle of the defence with Durante, North instead of Hearfield.
