Don't bother telling me this aint gonna happen...of course it won't, but it should!
So if you know its a dumb idea, then why suggest it? Nick the Greek? Griffiths? Really? Why should those guys who have not been in the match day squad or had any matches be picked over established and better players. Change for the sake of change?
Why can't you be a bit more constructive with your comments instead of picking holes in mine? Is it because you have to wear that stupid Darth Vader outfit?
Seriously, this is not change for the sake of change. It's not a dumb idea. It's a commentary on the coaching and selection policy currently at the club which I personally think is flawed.
And something else to consider...... how do you know anyone who has not been in the match day squad or had any matches are better than established players? We haven't seen any of them. They have had little chance to prove themselves, and my suggestion that against a very young and inexperienced GCU team would be an ideal chance to try one or two of them seems reasonable.
Lastly, i've been a forum member since 2007 and don't make many posts because I think about what I want to say before I say it. On the other hand you Mr Vadar have made many, many posts towards your First Team status, unfortunately volume does not make you an expert.
Why don't you break the mould and say something worthwhile for a change? I welcome robust debate, and if you want to enter into it at least try and come up with some alternatives that add value to the conversation.
I love being part of the Nix family and want to see the team and players do well, not just bag and slag them, and just as importantly not bag my fellow supporter. With all due respect, taking your Star Wars costume aside, I'd like to invite you to do likewise.
Cheers

Look I have no problems with what you are saying at all but if you want to have a debate around football you have to at least bring some common sense or football intelligence to it. I'm not saying I'm an expert but I don't suggest the far things you are. I don't consider the volume of posts or status anything worthwhile either more the content so if you want to post something like that then you should expect to get shot down. Why don't you suggest starting Rooney or some other superstar under the guise of 'team I want to see'? You don't because its founded in lunacy so what makes any of your other suggestions any different?
Advocating dropping Greenacre (workhorse and suffering from poor service delivery) Lia (who has been our most consistent midfielder) and starting a 2nd string LB at RB is deserved of ridicule. I'm happy to conede that Brown is a point of contention for 90% off fans - he is not with me but I don't trumpet it much as it might seem stupid to you and the rest of the fans. I'll add to the fact that our away record is sh*t and you want to increase the chances of a loss but fielding that team just because its a 'young GCU side'? You must have missed how they played on the weekend then. It is not reasonable and bringing in a young inexperienced player with zero game time... well again, you do it to yourself. For the record, I am pretty much happy with the team as it is with the swap of Paston for Warner and Ifill for Bertos. That team has balance, and will get the job done.
Its the 'Lochhead Syndrome'. Last year everyone wanted him dropped cause he was so sh*t. When he was gone, he was really missed. When he got back people marvelled at him and how he made a difference when he just kept doing what he always did. I noticed that the cries for Lochhead to go have started again but the short memories forget what happened last time. It now happening with other players too and hence these far out formation ideas.
