This game starts a week that will define our season.

Burns is out serving the second match of his two game suspension, and I think Muscat is out for us?

Which means I think we will line up like so :

Vuka
Hearfield, Sigs, Dura, Lochy
Ward, Brown, Lia, Marcola
Greenie, Macca

Also, Andy Todd is on the verge of exiting Perth I believe. So will likely not make the trip.

Muscat out? Not good. I hadn't heard of this so fingers crossed he can play. I thought that after a point of the season, the yellow card rule moved to 8 before a suspension?

Never listen to commentators.
I heard the comentator say that too but he also said "that's his fifth card so he'll be sitting the next game out" my TV copped some abuse, needless to say. If you're a commentator you should know all of that stuff. Take LF1 for example.

Fuck this stupid game

I'll be cheering for GCU as well this week, want them beating the heart and newcastle. And hopefully we get a melbourne-melbourne draw and we'll be back on track and back in the 6!
Come on Phoenix and Cold Ghost and draw!

This and this. Even better if it's a nil all draw for the Melbournes.

Good thing Burns is out, fouling prick. I won a dinner with a few nix players, and naming no names, one of them said they didn't like Jacob Burns.
Fair enough, he got sent off last time we played them, didn't he?phoenix_luver2011-01-16 17:47:13

Ah, true, true. Thats why I was so annoyed at Muscat being rested! I wanted him to foul someone (without causing injury, unless its Lia) and for him to be sent off. A good night out, says I.

Who?!
And will Burns miss it? They do have a game midweek which he'd be sitting out for??

I CAN'T NAME ANYONE. OR ELSE YOU COULD GUESS WHICH PLAYER SAID HE DIDN'T LIKE JACOB BURNS AND I WAS TOLD TO KEEP IT ON THE DOWN LOW.

I'll be at there for this one +8 others, got a van coming down from Auckland, got our tickets last week (PAX #5933).

My line-up would be same as the CCM game:

                                    Vuko
Hearfield        Dura          Siggy        Lochy
                                  Muscat
                 Brown                        Lia
Ward                                                         Marco
                                  BigMac

Subs: Greenie, Daniel, Leo, Crowther

The boys better be up for this one, i'm sure they don't need reminding that this one is season defining. Anything less than a win and it's pretty much curtains for the season.

Them playing us would be the furtherest for each team.. biggest away game journey worldwide in fact, iirc...so equal distance, of course.
Technically,it would depend on whether flying direct or with stop overs, as to who does actually travel the most kms.

The 'longest journey' depends on the Russian leagues and promotion relagation.  Vladivostok and Kaliningrad is definitely further if they are in the same division, Khabarovsk as well.  Even to St. Petersburg from those two I think is further.

CHeers for the kind offer but my bloody EPL team ( Perennial strugglers Liverpool) has been doing exactly that to me all year.  AT least they didn't lose this morning.
I've never supported a Championship side before , but the way the way they're going at the mo'... Got rid of Woy , still going down faster than Paris Hilton.l

No worries.  I could never do that sort of thing to a Scouse team anyway.

If it was another team in red...

I was thinking more like, the bottom two teams on away form both have to travel the most. Coincidence? I think not.

Fury have the third worst IIRC.  But the breakers and warriors seem to get more away wins than us though.

Its taken the Breakers and Warriors a while to get there though. You would hope that we at least are in communication with these clubs about how they manage it and how they overcome it. But I wonder if in the end it comes down to culture and that needs to be built up over time?
