That was a mirror image of the Tards game in many respects. The Jest weren't actually playing badly (apart from the massively sub-competent Topor-Stanely and the ludicrous bogan Kennedy), but they just weren't clicking and leaving big holes.

When picking the team the three people that would be my first pick would be Siggy, Manny and Dani Sanchez.
The first two as outstanding defenders and Sanchez as the only player that looks like scoring.
On tonights game Kennedy rates as the worst keeper in the league, only keeping out Reddy from that spot.
Topor-Stanley would not get a game in the state leagues.
As for Brockie being on the bench, shows a real lack of confidence on the jets part.Lets go for a point and forget about attacking.

Back from match..great buzz and game. Finally Pav was allowed to show what he is capable of. Some frustrating pass backs and slowish buildups but we carved then apart so much. The game needed more directness uo front at times. Sanchez is very good...on hid left foot. So much time on the ball and skill to retain possession.
A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Great game, great atmosphere....it was the most joyous crowd I have been in for ages. Mint at half tim with Ahmed and that other guy doing christmas Karoke. Ahmed you are a legend.
Daniel MOM for me. His assists were amazing and he was so cool with Pav's assist. Took his time and made the perfect pass. He was not happy being subbed....apparently his whole family, parents etc were here from Brazil and he promised them a goal.
We look so awsome when we have all our ball players on the field and we keep the ball on the deck...Sanchez is a legend and Smith did OK too!
Nice to see Pav pick up a brace....well played son. Two very nice finishes. Very muted celebrations and didn't come near the YF. Perhaps he has been reading all the posts where everyone has been slagging him off! Best reply though...2 goals...take that!!!
