Griffiths pulls a shot out of nowhere. Back 4 ball watching and Moss makes a great reflex save

Awful shot from Daniel, but he's playing well so far.

sh*t what a save by Moss.

Three for me, and two for them.

Moss having a cracking game so far.

Our back four are just asleep and not just sleephead asleep, more noddy land asleep

The whole team has seemed asleep so far Agent 47 or if not asleep then heavily drowsy. Hope Ricki tears them a new one at half time.

Three for me, and two for them.

Other than Moss the back 4 and central pairing of Ferrante and Brown are just not even in it. Bertos is putting himself about, Smeltz is marked out of the game and Daniel is trying but failing....Oh and Hearfield is doing......

Moss another fantastic save.

5 saves to Moss - None to their guy
Permalink Permalink

I've figured out why Moss is so good and has been so good save 1 or 2 games.

Its because his back 4 allow him to look good....

WTF? Are the Phoenix saying to Tarek "We're sorry the Fever give your brother sh*t, so here's the freedom of our penalty box"?

Anyone hear who is on the bench tonight?

Dewhurst again saying we are playing too deep. What is with that statement? You want to stay up field and have Griffiths & El**ch run past us?????

This reminds me of one our early season games when we had absolutely no idea how to mount a meaningful attack. Have to hope Smeltz gets on the end of one.

Well we some how held on in that half although to be fair, the teams in the table above us would have made us pay. Its almost like we've dropped our standards down to play the team bottom team.

Nothing really worth talking about. We are not horrible but more asleep. Its like we are stuck in slow mo or taken some pot before the game. No urgency at all

Moss is having another blinder, Muscat is letting El**ch do what he likes, Sigmund has picked up a little from kick off, Dodd is ordinary, Lockhead hasn't had much to do but isn't really stopping play on his side when it comes down.

Brown is hugging the right hand touch line when he should be central, Someone should put out an missing persons APB for Ferrante for the 2nd week running and he should be hugging the right hand touch line rather than be central, Daniel is trying but by and large failing and not giving us much based on what we know he can do. Looks short of match play

Hearfield is in the same missing persons report as Ferrante, Smeltz is marked out of the game and Bertos is getting about and showing some urgency

I'd make a half time change of Ferrante for Christie

Muscat Sigmund Dodd Lockhead

        Christie Brown Hearfield
                     Daniel

              Smeltz Bertos

No more high crosses!

Covic is too tall for it.

We tried the last game and it didnt work, then both our goals came from middle to low hight.

The way Dodd is playing, its like last year with Old alongside him again.

Sigmund cops a yellow for leading with an elbow. Thankfully he didn't make contact with Griffiths (what am I saying) cause it would have been red

Hmmm. Strong penalty shout turned down.

Bertos was steam rolled but what didn't help his case was that he stopped and was almost in the act of going down when he got hit.

Make up for the one early in the first half with Griffiths in our penalty area

Bertos scores with his groin at the back post from 4 yards out on a cross from the wide right from Hearfield. Fortunate but goal.

Smeltz scores.

Long ball through, turned the man. Gathered possession and chipped the keeper from inside the edge of the right side of the penalty box

2-0

Muscat makes a fantastic save with his hands.

Camera view from behind the goal shows him batting it out of the field on the way down.
