Still doesn't excuse sh*t defending though, asleep for the follow up and a weak hand from Warner, surely Paston needs to start next week along with Smith.

Adelaide are going to be making all the headlines over there about how theyre back under Kosmina and that theyre going to make the finals, etc... where as truth be told they just played against an average as f**k Phoenix, so I hope Adelaide get their asses handed to them by the Heart on Wednesday

Sanchez better then Leo at set pieces

Greenie doesnt have the holding and turning of either Van Dyke or Djite

McKain, Phhew

FFS Bertos, i used to be a big fan, but every week it's the same sh*t. A corner than wont clear the first defender, shots that look like they are been replayed in slow motion. My 3 year old daughter can hit a shot with more power than he can.

For a guy who has spent his entire career on the flank Bertos's crosses are monumentally crap.

Disappointing. Playing not to lose rather than to win can do that to you.

Works fine at a World Cup when its all backs to the wall, but in the A-League, we be should aiming a little higher.

I guess after the tumultuous off-season and injury-rocked start to the season, I shouldn't be so harsh.

Oh well our struggles away from home continue. I thought we had enough chances but luck didn't quite go our our way.

Looking forward to Ifill coming back.

this is just totally f**ked. our attack is impotent without ifill there. having greenacre by himself is a waste of time. please have ifll and sanzchez up front with smith playing behind them in the hole. muscat defensive CM with perhaps lia. anyone but bertos on the right. sign clapham and chuck him on the right even. god damnit. our goal scoring chances with todays formation were next till nil from the outset. god damnit. why constantly employ the same get to flanks and cross it in tactic, IT DOESN'T WORK our crosses are rubbish. go up the middle change it up now and then. we are so one dimensional it's rediculous. i'm pissed off.

Come on, this was not "playing not to lose". A lot of attacking intent from Phoenix. Other factors at play here.

I know, I know, its serious!

Yeah but a bit sh*te anyway, no sabre-rattling pre-match comments, same old crosses in. Dirty negative play at times, Brown - usual a bit better maybe, limited subs.
And what's with the hugs and smiles at the end of the match it wasn't a testimonial?
They were bound to come back to some form but we were a bit sh*te again on the road.

What a load of sh*t, especially coming after last weeks performance.FKD if i can understand just why Smith was left at home. Will be made even worse if Ricki includes him in Wednesdays game.

For FKS sake just dont understand why the away form is so crap.Sick of hearing all the crap excuses.Speak to the warriors and breakers they seem to have overcome the same problems.Maybe just maybe you might pick up some hints. Not sure about others but getting thoroughly FKD off with this rubbish being continually dished up away from home.Until they sort it there is no way we stand a chance of winning this comp.

Questions;

Will we ever sign that blindingly obviously needed striker ?

Bertos takes set pieces - why ?

Who told Brown he doesn't have to track back and tackle any more ?

Is there anyone left who doesn't know the way the beat the Nix is to go though the middle, on the ground, through / around our DMs ?

Instead of an assistant coach can we have home and away coaches - Herbert's had 4 1/2 years and still can't figure out how to win on the road ?

Smith's in Wellington and Ward and Downey are on the bench ?

F**ked off with what was an ever so predictable result - you bet !

When away just get someone with some balls to give the talks and do the subs.

I'm sick of the Nix doing this to us every time they go away.   I think I'm turning into an exclusively home fan.

Just looked again at the free kick prior to Goal 2. Very closely. Am quite sure that Djite dived. He saw the leg being offered, decided to take it, only Manny took his leg away (just in time). Cheat.

I'd like to see the book thrown at him. Very crucial moment (although that doesn't excuse our jobbies defending from the free kick).

I know, I know, its serious!

Why oh f**king why do they let Leo Bertos take any kind of standing kick at a football..he's crap at it.
Tim brown..less said the better.

Ricki took off greenie, Daniel and Sanchez and replaced them with Pav, Ward and Downey for f**ks sake.
We didnt look remotely like the team that beat the jets last week and this not lose mentality at the expense of trying to win is bollocks
read the tactics manual Ricki!!

but Despite the yellow card and appearing to want to get sent off I thought Manny was great

Mate we were down and leave two dm's on the pitch and instead take off our most attaking players.
Can someone tell ricky to not leave his balls at home next time.
