Hearfield goes over the touch line with the ball...shades of last week gets a half break but has no guile.

Plodder warming up for Ferrante?

I'd like to see the back 4 and McKain move away from a man marking to a space marking mode. The attacking midfielders are checking in and out of the front line into that 25y space in front of goal thats proving dangerous and also creating space for Van Dijk to run into along the front line.

So how did Hearfield get his goal?

Please explain.

Bertos crossed from out the left flank and Hearfield was kinda drifting in johnny on the spot to head it in at the back post. All rather slow motion

phhrrrrrrrrr. If Brown had run into him and dropped instead of headlocking him...

Permalink Permalink

I would have thought Brown would have tried to outpace him on the outside, not run at the 2 defenders..

Some good breaks coming, if only we can get some bite to to end of them.

Crosses into the stand don't help either.
