We will probably miss that but encourage those less pub focussed to attend.

I do like one pre match ale!  So not the Thistle Inn?  3 hours to get from Civic Square is a bit much for me.

Thistle has wrong brewery and quite a few of thiose I know who used to drink there have moved venues from there anyway.

The Pub doing $5 pints and a free barbie (or that was the plan).

Why not try one of the many craft beer bars and sample beer produced in Wellington...Parrot dog, Tuatara, Garage project, Kereru.....

Sure it'll will cost a little more, but at least you'll get something with taste...

Hashigo zake, malthouse,  LBQ, tap room, bru house. Or the Sprig and Fern.

Quality over quantity!

He is & I can't wait til I wrap my laughing gear around them in Dec. Sat night Dec 08 a few of us will be doing this: http://www.craftbeercapital.com/
Tuatara already has a good rep over here & some of the Pubs Karori mentioned have already become something of a tradition for those of us who have made the trip over since the Phoenix entered the A-League.

Plus, if you join SOBA, you'll get discounts at some craft beer bars throughout NZ. Soon recoup the $30 annual fee...

Look under resources, then "craft beer friendly bars"

Among the casualties are UnitedFuture leader Peter Dunne, Maori Party co-leader Pita Sharples and former ACT leaders Rodney Hide and Don Brash.

In the paper today they said expecting 13500 - I think with the amount welnix have invested in ticket savings that would be a little disappointing.  Get along everyone, this is going to be massive!

Massive indeed. Does anyone know how we obtain our mates' free tickets for this game (as pass holders)?

How do I redeem my free ticket offer with the Season Ticket?

You will be able to request your free ticket from Monday 13 August. You will get a ticket of an equivalent category to the season ticket purchased e.g. a Silver Adult season adult ticket qualifies for a Silver Adult match day ticket.

The following is the free match day ticket offer by season ticket option:

  • One adult match day ticket per adult season ticket;
  • One child match day ticket per child season ticket;
  • One adult and one child ticket per Family season ticket and1 Adult/2 Child season ticket.

Note: Concession season tickets, the Flexi Six Pack and the Nova Energy offer does not qualify for the free ticket option.

Tickets must be used within the first three home games of the season.

When requesting your free seat we will endeavour to allocate the closest seat to the member as possible.

There are 3 ways of redeeming your ticket (for all options you will need your membership card at hand)

  1. Call Phoenix Line 04 384 2457 and an ezy ticket will be sent to you
  2. Visit the Michael Fowler Centre and collect your free ticket
  3. Collect your ticket on match day at the box office

I got my 2 x free tickets with my 2 season passes. Had to wait a few mins on hold but after that they sorted the tix out in no time.

To all of you who want to take your mates to the YF zone I say hurry as it's almost full.

To all of you who have a season pass, just get your free ticket and give it to a friend..put it on facebook or something, we need a BIG crowd!

Overheard a couple of people saying they were going to the game, I asked if they had tickets yet. They have not.

 I encouraged them to get in early as there could be a big walk up........

Still hoping for 15,000. (+)
