What's Roy Krishna up to these days?

Ward could actually be a possibility as would Elliottt and Fallon.

But it could also be another defender, seeing Jade North is taking ages, Manny out for the next game.

Him and a few other of the Pacific Island players are extremely talented (Osea Vakatalesau also) but I don't know if they'd quite cut it in the A-League - at least the ones I know of anyway.  Would love to be proved wrong, though.

It's Fallon.

A mate in the know told me.

A bit disappointed really, while he is a quality player for the A-League I don't think he is what we need.

but we already have a big guy who jumps for everything and loses the ball for us.

Fuck this stupid game

Are we serious about Fallon?  Is it actually him?  Not opposed to that at all, there'd need to be a reshuffle of the line-up obviously but the more competition (and elbows akin to Muscat's last season) the better.

He's been waiting for a sign from God. Mark Paston must have given him a call.

Not going to judge until I see him play for the 'Nix but the prospect doesn't excite me much.

I'd be more than happy with Fallon. Has the potential to do very well for us. Would be good to see another Kiwi at the club too.

Yes. Big Mac seems alright though, but you couldn't play them both.

I'd lean towards Fallon but would trust Ricki's decision on that.  What of him and Big Mac up front together with Greenacre playing just in behind?

                         Vukovic
            Durante      North      Siggy
Ifill        Brown      Muscat       Daniel
                      Greenacre
           Fallon               Big Mac

I think, if we do play 3-4-3 or any variation of it, that that would be best.  Bertos on the bench is no issue for me and Lia?  I'm shedding no tears seeing him subbed.

Only 4 Kiwis there but I'm not fussed.  Bertos, Lochhead etc on the bench and those two would probably be pushing for a starting spot ahead of most others.

I'd be very happy with Fallon, he would tear up the A League if we had someone or two that could consistently put the ball up.

With Bertos and Lochhead we have the two players who would've done that for the All Whites, plus Ifill.

Why is everyone assuming its Fallon? Its very unlikely it'll be him.

based on what evidence? poor season at plymouth. I am not sure he would offer us anything different/better than what we already have.

but they are talking about it (us! how exciting!) on the guardian "Transfer Deadline Day- Live!" page:
https://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/31/transfer-deadline-day-live-clockwatch1

"1.50pm: According to the Wellington Phoenix Twitter feed the club "will announce the signing of a key player for the current season on wellingtonphoenix.com tomorrow (Wednesday)". Sean Arnold reckons that will be Plymouth's Rory Fallon. not surer if that's a sign of strengthening Kiwi domestic football following the World Cup or an indictment of Plymouth's current situation."

Based on pedigree and what we saw of him in the WC qualifiers. I could have a poor season in the Premier League and then come here and light up the A League couldn't I?
