So I'd be right in thinking that 'Fgn' means forgotten

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Notice Shane Smeltz isn't on the GCU list.  What about Nick Ward, how long did we sign him for?
Permalink Permalink

Nick Ward is off contract unless he has signed something in the last few days. So is Jade North as far as I am aware.

Jade North has been released by mutual consent. Nick Ward is off contract but has got to be priority behind Rojas

I'd be happy with Kofi Danning

I wouldn't.

Sean Lovemore is better.

So Birighitti and Danning are the two? That is very average. Yeah that's true, Lovemore would be pretty good.

How many youth players are we going to need to add for next year?

Well Pavlovic is too hold, Rojas is leaving, and Musa is off contract. So presuming we re-sign Musa, we still need two. Birighitti would be a pretty useful signing in my opinion. Good back up to Paston.

We only need three youth players if we sign the full 23 players I think. So if we have 22 we need 2 youth players etc

That's the minimum we need to sign isn't it though, nothing saying we can't sign more if we want (and if they're quality enough)

I think he was referred to be one whom wears orange. I think we would be more likely to hazard a guess at a brisbane player such as Mundy???

Oh I had heard the danning rumour actually. Hmm think he could be alright in a front three, but lovemore perhaps could be a better option. However why not take both?

Who says we won't have a club?

What are we supposed to do then? Sit back until it's all been settled, find out we're still in business and then it's too late to sign any new players. Or we do the last minute scramble around to sign somebody thing and provoke all sorts of angst on here?

As far as the team is concerned, as far as possible, we should be carrying on as if everything in ther garden is rosy.

It's pretty hard to do that entirely. Does Ricki know what his budget is? $$$ for marquee player available?

I should think that Ricki knows his budget. Remember that there have already been real negotiations with Marco in which a $$$ figure was put on the table, and apparently a pretty chunky one at that. So Ricki must have confidence making up a player budget, barring disasters and accidents and dodgy Indians.

Remember that not only is there a salary gap, but there is also a salary floor.  SO would have a fairly good idea of what his budget is.
