Rolled ankle, not sure when it happened, but can't remember a foul on him. Pretty sad for Krishna, damn.

At least he'll be busy for one of those weeks serving his suspension!

I tweeted at the time that it looked like he took the tactical yellow card to me

I posted something like this last year...

Cumulative number of games missed by Nix players due to injuries, suspensions, and int duty.

Not surprising that R9 is where it started to hit the fan this season.  Even just looking at injuries, players have missed 38 games to date. Last year at same stage it was 14. 23 in 2013/14. We've only had three games where the whole squad was available. R1, R4 and R9.

Only once had the same starting XI in consecutive games - R2 and R3. And Dura was missing in both of them.

A knee surgery at 17, jeez. Knees normally turn into a recurring injury as well.

Shark to do a knee at a young age is not good. I really hope he gets a great surgeon and this is a oncer.

Surgeon, physio, rehab, mental strength, properly managed return, and a slice of luck. It's the whole box of dice required to comeback from major surgery. Good luck to him, he's sacrificed a lot already.

So potentially ready for either the Phoenix or NZ. I wonder if we risk flying him out to the US and aggravating the injury?

And that's why we need all the depth in midfield.

Surely our midfielders are no more or less likely to get injured than our attackers or defenders? Doyle and Parkhouse have both been out too so we already had one of our midfielders playing left back.

That sounds promising, was rather worried he might be out for awhile.

Glad it's not as serious then!

Some troll on insidesport was saying that there was already a deal for the Nix to release Louis so he can play for Macarthur next year. I repeat this rumour only for entertainment purposes.
