having a winning club is important to all of us, but we will always owe Welnix some debt of amount of gratitude for brining the club here and keeping it running - had it not been for them, the nix would have disappeared at the pint of Terry's demise, and then add to all the dramas os "Nix out" over the years to know being at the table with the APL and the league shows the commitment to the league and the sport in this country.

Absolutely. Welnix are the best owners in the AL by a country mile. They have given us financial stability for nearly two decades. 
Even though we dont have trophies...yet, they should be satisfied with their work and generosity.
Dozens and dozens of kiwi boys and girls have had a pathway open to them in football. Many have gone on and had succesful pro football careers. Any AW squad now has a considerable number of exNix players.
This is their legacy and they should be proud if it.
