Can a man facing a charge travel ?

ADELAIDE United defender Robert Cornthwaite has been charged with basic assault on a bouncer at a city night club and for withholding information from South Australian police

Possibly, with permission. Not sure if they confiscate all passports if people are on bail?

Don't see any difference really, the Nix play teams of convicts every week...

(Yes, I'm Australian myself... but I couldn't resist )

In the paper as well. Interesting option would be to put Mckain but to CB and move Siggy or Durante out to the side.

Has anyone seen Jiang Chen training? Does he look likely or has he discovered the delicacy of the meat pie since arriving?

I think Cornthwaite can travel as wasn't Johnson allowed to even though he was pinged for drink driving?

saw him last week and thought he was pretty good tbh. will def be in the mix this week. I think herbert stated that he would be in the team against adelaide a few weeks ago.

would love to see a 4-3-3 against Adelaide. I know it won't happen but hell if you want to play attaking then thats the way to show it.

        Chen    Greenacre    Ifill

       Daniel      Diego       Bertos

Lochhead  Sigmund   Durante   Lia

                     Paston

Any word on whether Diego was injured, ill or just awful?

Im think there may be more to diego than we know. Im sure its not just an injury, it kinda reminds me of G** last season. he started acting in strange sorts and the phoenix management kept it all under wraps.

hope not. thats the last thing we need. what I don't understand is why pro footballers can be so lazy/grumpy?

they get paid to play football..man i'd give my left one to play pro.

I'm sure if they got paid on a performance basis I think their attitudes would quickly change.

everyone needs an incentive, perhaps thats what they need to have.

Predictions for crowd size?

Permalink Permalink
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
9,500 will be good!
think we might get 8 grand though. Would like to see Chen on the bench. And I guess it depends on if Diego shows to whether the bench changes anymore. Think Hearfield could be worth a start. As could Daniel some time.

Think Adelaide aren't that strong at the moment so we could take this one if we get our ass into gear

If I followed that plan I wouldnt even get to the match...

7659.....down 3000 on opening game as expectations are lower now after Sydney game, plus 658 hoping that another must win game actually delivers, plus one (me) hoping to see 2 strikers finally play.

wonder how that will affect the odds for the game?

it's there for the taking this week, now it's upto the guys.

Ricki has to play very attacking.

we can score plenty of goals this week if we play forward....

exciting

Why, will the other 1353 get blown away?

Rudan is SO SLOW!

What's happened to Adelaide?  Bogy team for us, we need to shut down their midfield

Normo's coming home

What's the story with Travis Dodd? If he's not playing Adelaide are a bit like a chicken minus head.

Although he was below average against GCU.
