FFS On sky3 I just saw highights from the World Championship...............Kingfish throwing competition - using frozen kingfish and they also incorporated the World Championship Tuna throwing contest with a specially made 12kg rubber Tuna!!

Now that is sad!!

By far and way the greatest sport to watch on ESPN is scrabble.

Why does anyone want to watch some of that rubbish? Who on earth comes up with some of these ideas for games? Some of them are 'games' not 'sports.'

LG, a 12kg rubber tuna....??  Almost sounds kinky.

It's nuts! I tried it once, in England, and it knackered me.

My mate Bhavesh came to work one morning with a limp and few bruises to his face..   the only kabbadi (spelling?) injuries I've ever seen...

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I remember when C4 in the UK used to show Kabaddi, IIRC correctly just before the gridiron on a Sunday evening. Sundays evenings a wide world of sports (to nick a old 9 slogan) on C4

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

They used to show that in the UK.

Couldn't be ersed typing it again

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
