Which Nix player is most unfairly criticised

It's not which player is the best, but which is the one that gets most unfairly slagged by fans on this forum.

So who cops the most undeserved criticism?
Go on, tell us why too ..

I think Lochhead, all those people bagging him have had to eat their words since he's been back.
We've been conceding less goals.

(oops, should have included North as well!)

D Mac. Still gets slagged off despite scoring a lot of important goals for us recently.

Allegedly

D-Mac. Not the greatest player, but scoring goals.
Locky, because his distribution is piss poor.

Who's Diego? Didn't he play for us once?

+1 on D-Mac. We get lots of chances but need a finisher.

D-Mac scores, be he misses too many sitters as well.

Surprised Jade North wasn't on the list, was hated by everyone couple of weeks ago, but has put in some man of the match performances in his last games.

I read this as who is actually pretty good but gets criticised and I'd have to say Lochead. We've looked better when he came back.

Hearfield - although working harder and has improved still does my head in.

edit: sorry Bev just plagiarised you post, basically writing the same thing you did!

Tim Brown got hammered earlier in the season, and I think that was more from people not understanding his role more than anything.

Tim who?

Never seen him play. Which position is he?

Tims the second leading goal scorer for the team, plus makes just as many tackles as Lia, though everyone calls Lia the work horse in the team. Can someone tell me how many assists and goals Lia has had for the Phoenix in his career. Would it be more than 3 or 4? And have of those have come in the past month.

D-mac is difficult to gauge, almost every single ball he heads is comically misplaced and he also has the knack of hitting the ball with his standing leg.

But he makes great runs, gets into great positions and will pull of some good finishes.

Not always, I remember a pass to Rojas and Rojas scoring.

Dmac has delivered a lot.

Despite Troy having defensive lapses, hes been doing a great job of late and saved us last night

I don't have an aversion to him. The question was asked ' most people don't know what role he plays'.
My question was genuine. I just think he could be used better, because we all know that he can score. Not yet back to his best after his shoulder. Every team should have a Tim in it.

it was a hard choice, tony or DMac went with tony
cause got so slagged off, but without him our defense was sh*t to say the least, with him back we play much better

and d-mac cause he scoring goals, just gets soo much sh*t. what more do u want from a striker than to score goals

DMac for me, we call him a donkey and slag him off for not moving and yet he's score 5 from 7 games, the other one who imo is unfairly criticused is Timmy....sure he makes errors but he has his sublime moments, pretty sure he was the one delivering the sweet pass to Marco on Saturday.

Some call D-Mac a Donkey out of affection. He is slow, turns like a bus, has little ball control and scores goals all-be-it deflections, miss-kicks thus being probably the jammiest player in the Phoenix squad.

I like EEE-AAWWWW, nice guy and scores even if the above does apply. I hope he stays another season.

Plenty of good options here. I voted D-Mac but in retrospect a lot of comments aimed at him have stopped over the last couple of weeks. When thinking about this more, I actually think Leo takes it out. The amount of booing he gets when there is nothing on and he passes backwards, to keep possession, is staggering.

Doesn't do a hatchet job on opposition much either (that's Manny's and Siggie's roles)
