yeh I agree too, Plodder is holding his own. Its centre backs where we need experience.... and maybe a marker, sweeper system, although I dunno who would do the sweeper job, no-one we have seems suitable.

That old guy at the back for the Mariners was pretty good - he knew when the ball needed CLEARING INTO ROW Z - wish TONY VIDMAR was with us, Plodder is ok but we need more pace at fullback.His attacking options are limited, seems to stop at half-way and is unable to cross a ball [ has he hit the bye-line this season to get a cross in ? ] NOT ALL HIS FAULT but we lack a leader at the back.

Sorry can't agree the question should be as Chopper points out, why didn't he do the easiest and most sensible thing in injury time?

the sad thing is i know 13 year olds who are better defenders than them half of them never seem to tackle
