Just a reminder that Kids go free with a paying Adult. So drag along as many of your family & friend's kids as you can, maybe we can get 10k plus!

Only the second time ever we have played on Waitangi Day, maybe a big crowd will get noticed by the APL for future NZ Derbies.

Not dragging along a kid, but after going to my first game against Victory I am now bringing along my flatmate. Hopefully another good performance from the team incoming.

PAX 1845. Seems ok so far, my friend bought a ticket yesterday on Monday night at PAX 600.
Remember add about 2.5-3k for club and sky stadium members.

Do people need to organize the kids tickets in advance?  Or do they just bring em along if they have an adult ticket

Now I am just more curious to hear other perspective I just wondering do we need to be not worried or concerned just I don't even know the right words but I will go with weary that this game is such a short turn around timing wise from the Brisbane game like I know the Nix are playing well (from what I understand CCM has been as well right?) surely it is possible the team can get two wins in a short space of time right?

Or will the short turn around not come into factor?

We will find out Tuesday.

It's a big ask for sure.

I think the Brisbane game will be harder than CCM even though they've got completely opposite form going into the games.
With Rufer and Payne back for CCM hopefully Zawada is able to play more minutes too and at home I think we'd have a strong chance of winning so hopefully we can get sneak a win at Brisbane but a draw would be a good result too.

All those fresh legs on their own will help out for the CCM game for sure.

CCM play today, they have even less turnaround. We need to smash them.

With Pennington out, I think Al-Taay will slot in next to Rufer and lPayne will return to the right fullback role.  Italiano sensibly subbed Al-Taay off early for Conchie so hopefully he'll be able to run full game.

I'm just watching the Mariners now. We are going to have to be at our best to beat them. Wayyy better than how we played against Brisbane. Hope we have a full squad to pick from apart from Sutts and Pennington

Watching the Adelaide v CCM game - CCM are going to take some serious stopping. They're absolutely tearing strips off Adelaide in their own backyard.

Hopefully Torres gets a transfer to Japan or Korea before Tuesday. Serious, serious player.

Slightly terrified of them to be honest. Best side in the comp for a while, they just had a horrible start to the season. Hope the travel and shorter turn around make a difference

Not that many seasons ago, this game was the battle for the wooden spoon.
Nice guys can come first (or 2nd).

CCM are looking the business. But they're attacking style also suits our transition play.

Should be a belter of a game.

I've been a follower/fan since day 1, through the dark days ...but hate the stadium (we need a small Dunedin like stadium). This will be the first game im going to there for maybe 5 years.

With good weather im predicting a crowd of 10k plus. Lots of people are jumping on the bandwagon or coming back like me.

Some of the sting was taken out of it for me by seeing so many other contenders drop points this weekend. And either WSW or Macarthur, or even both, will drop points today too. It's a reminder that you can't take a win for granted, even against the worst teams.

I guess many people have bad memories of the last time CCM came to town and whipped us 4-0 but even though they are undoubtedly the in-form team I reckon we can definitely get something out of this game. Hoping for a big, vocal crowd to lift the guys to a special effort.

Adelaide were all over us in that 2-2 a few weeks  and should have won it comfortably if it wasn’t for some heroics from Paulson , anyone can beat anyone in this league..

The Nix will have got into Welly yesterday. Light training session today, and valuable time formulating a plan for CCM. Focus on shutting down Torres no doubt. Mariners won't get into NZ from Adelaide until late tonight or even Monday.

Important players/motivators Rufer & Payne coming back, will give the team a big lift. Maybe Sutton as well. Old & Zawada capable of playing more mins. Big crowd at fortress ROF. The energised hype of 1st verus 2nd. The Nix can definitely win.

CCM were impressive last night against Adelaide who were playing at home. Torres was the key to their 4:0 win due to his direct fast play and superb ball control.  Not sure if "passing the ball back to his team" even exists in his vocabulary, he just goes like a bullet train. Great player to watch.

Will be interesting to see how Rufer and Pennington handle him, or how he handles the physical stuff he's gonna get.

Shame Pennington is out, and a real bugger Salas not yet available. Grasping at hopeful straws likely, but lets see how Torres goes with only 2 days between games, and one of those spent pretty much in airports or sitting in a flying tin can.

He wouldn't have come across that situation much playing in Portugal and Malta! Roofs meanwhile should be fresh as.
