Masterclass from Chief honestly. People act like he is a shark coach around here sometimes but he has his moments. Excellent work from the coach today

Let's hope we don't try to sit passively on this lead. We need to keep them on the back foot and look for a second otherwise I can definitely see Sydney getting back into this. 

Need to improve our option taking in the front third too. So much wasted possession in good areas.

Was a joyous fist half. Can’t fault the team at all and that was as deserving a red as you’ll see. Still don’t know how Ryder can get booked for being fouled and still get the free kick? I was half expecting him to give the free kick the other way.

Rufer yellow was for inciting the afters, the way he jumped up and had a go at the other player. 

Ref was like, you got the foul. You didn't need to react like that.

Harsh... but I can also understand it.

Red card was about the only call the ref has got right.

 There's been a lot of water falling on it (rain). So not surprising its a bit fragile.

I don't want to jinx it as we're yet to see two halves of good football strung together but how consistent has Hughes been the last few games? Has seemed to really turned a corner and hit the next level in his on going development as a player with solid match awareness.

Seems rather negative. He's choosing to shore up the midfield at the expense of speed and mobility up front. Hope it doesn't come unstuck.
