There should be a moment of silence for Turner before kick-off.

Also a 20th minute applause (he generally wore number 20 for New Zealand)?

Hopefully they're freshened up after the travel disruptions and time zone impacts.

Plus Wooten has a game under his belt after the injury, and Elliot is back.

Would be nice if we're back to our best for this one, with Sasse starting to fire and playing with more confidence and Zawada on a roll. And hopefully  the Rufer and Ugarkovic partnership on the up.

Dreams are free. Turn on a good one guys.

And good to do that in a home game and in memory of a kiwi great.

And a brilliant headed goal from one of our midfielders would be appropriate too

Anyone know how Kosta is going with his injury?

Jets play a lot of 'get-in behind' football. Is sitting deep the answer? By this I don't mean sitting back and absorbing pressure the whole game.

Did anyone else hear the rumors of oli sail going to perth.I hope it is not true cause right now we need him every week and i don't think paulsen is ready for starting.

I hear Keegan Smith might be available if Perth are desperate (joke). Why on earth would Oli go to Perth unless there was a significant incentive?

NEW: 7 wins, 11 draws, 11 losses

Newcastle when conceding first has drawn 2 and lost 8 and never won so scoring first will be vital even though we've dropped a lot of points from leading.

For a change I hope we score first then 😂 COYN

Piscopo really needs Darren Anderton's old nick name.
Piscoppo being true to form as per his time at the Nix, and being unavailable for 50% of games due to injury.

Kraev, Zawada and Wooton all currently on 4 yellows.
1 more = suspension.

Hasnt been much of an issue in the past cant see things being much different especially if any rain stays away.

Supposed to be fine tonight, kick off 8pm, but rain is expected tomorrow. Very short turn around between games.

Have to be able to adjust your defensive patterns depending on the way the other side attacks in general - we definitely always need to look to move forward quickly, otherwise you stagnate or turn the ball over, we've got to be alert to make fast breaks when we win the ball from the opposition etc... having Elliot back should help us play in a much more positive way upfield compared to our last match.

Looks quiet on tv. Had hoped to make it along but kids are sick. Gutted as even the sun is out.

pleased to see Elliot and Mauragis back in the lineup, for all of the hype Sutton has gotten this season he struggled last week against CCM.

For a neutral this must be pretty dull fare.

We really need a smaller stadium if this is the size of crowds we get. Considering we are in top half of the table and how few games there have been lately (or will be) it's pretty poor...

(My excuse for not being there is that I don't live in Wellington.)

Shaun Evans cards Ball for… kicking the ball away? They’ve done it every foul and throw. More cheating.

Well in Callan 👏
Duncan couldn't catch a cold.

I always hate the wait between the goal being scored and the next kick off, just never feels safe anymore, especially when you have a keeper clamouring for a foul too.

Yes, was a complete anti climax for me too. I've already seen goals disallowed this season for just that sort of minor contact on the keeper.
