Oh Wellingong is wonderful. Chance to knock over the league leader!

Early bird catches the early leader.
How were the Mariners in their first game against the Jests?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

1-3 CCM, to good to strong and we always lose our 2nd game after a positive start. Oh well we can only try.

They were pretty good going forward but were opened up a few times at the back.

Sky Sport programme listings doesn't have this game on live anymore. Now showing Football Ferns friendly on SS7 instead. Can't see that they're showing it live on any channel. Looks like delayed coverage Sunday lunchtime only.

Wonder if the government announcement will hurt morale.

Piney mentioned they are doing a pre-show for the game, so I'm sure they will find space for the Nix game to be shown live.

The pre/post-game show is for the Ferns I'm informed. But the Nix have been moved to SS2 in the Sky Go guide now.

I queried with Sky and they told me it will be show live on SS2. Currently there's some live rugby showing on the sky guide.

Just judging from the highlights, the Mariners were pretty decent last weekend.
Certainly better than what people were expecting.
Their Costa Rican playmaker looks a threat.
Could be quite an even game on Saturday.

No easy wins in the A league anymore. We will have to battle for a full 90 to get anything out of any matches this season.

Thinking a 3-1 win to the lads. Waine, hooper and Rufer the scorers.

Didn't think Waine had the best game last week neither did Sotirio though. I'm guessing it's more of a tactical change wanting to use Sotirios pace in behind.

Currently at 89 games, second in active players behind Geria with 121. Adam D'Apuzzo is all time at 150.

There goes Sotirio asking for the ball while running in an offside position. Some things never change.
