The pace that Sail has gone backwards at is actually astonishing.

That's two awful pieces of keeping from him in two weeks. From a Kiwi standpoint it's an absolute shame, but I've got my Nix hat on this arvo, so get in Zawada! 🥳

our ball retention has disappeared. Why are we playing into pressure?!?!

I don't know how he's done it but Chiefy has turned Tim Payne into a footballer

Imagine Callan Elliot in the positions Payne’s taking up.

is Kosta becoming sillier as a footballer? silly yellow today, silly one last week. Just think he needs to think more about what he is doing.

Lead aside, for an outfit thats promised a bit more attacking play and impetus going forward heading into this match, we sure do get forward just to turn it around and pass it backwards a lot.

Have a fuc king go lads! Put Sail under pressure - he'll already be feeling sharke, have a crack! Don't get in and around that final third and then have it recycled all the way back to Paulsen.

We seem to be doing that thing yet again where we score a goal and then sit back. Didn't go well last season.

Kraev hitting the post was the turning point. Up until then we looked good, we have been awful since. What a goal it would have been, same could be said about Payne's attempt that looked like it flashed just wide at the far post.

the crowd treatment of Oli Sail from the moment he stepped on the pitch is nothing short of pathetic.

Positive aggressive play promised?.
I've never seen so much backwards passing in my life. We could have killed this game by now,but too bloody much pissing about with it in our own half.

i think i know banter pretty well. This is not friendly banter. A coordinated “you f***** up” in his face is not banter and ill-deserves a guy who served the phoenix well for 9 years and was always brilliant with the fans. A decent proportion of the Yellow Fever and others need to grow up.

Oli Sail is clearly a reverse-Samson, where he loses all his powers once he has hair

Yeah, I agree.

We should be louder and more annoying.

Probably the best Tim Payne has ever played in a Phoenix shirt?

Having an absolute wow of a game.

It's real disappointing because we should be 2-1 now at least and our only goal is from a mistake, not good build up.

So much for having the tallest defence in Nix history and we concede a header from a set piece

Kraeve is doing a lot of running but doesn't seem to be on his A game.

Don't forget to mention Old could have been a Pro golfer now that he is on the pitch.

Kelly-Heald has done well for an 18 year old. I don't know if I would've taken Rufer off. A fw others before him.

Oldie has been immense since he came on, really great performance. Got the tackle in to start that counter attack that led to the goal too.

Penalty drama aside, that’s a game we would’ve crumbled in in previous seasons.

I’m liking this set up under Chiefy more and more

Good result from the young brigade. Really pleasing having a couple of the older heads stand up too. Good things ahead, but we sure made that a lot harder than it had to be!

Promising nonetheless. COYN!

Old made a difference, well done
We got a great goal, but overall not enough of that kind if positive play, and we were a bit lucky.

And if that's a penalty,I'm a Dutchman.  I don't understand what part of the current complex rule says that's a pen. He's moving away from the ball, looking the other way,in a natural position.
