Greeny deserves the top job. 3 wins in a row in a league as competitive as this... no teams in the top 6 prior to this round won... is not simple feat.
1 goal conceded in 3 is the most impressive stat for me.
What a turn around.
Cmon the NIX give me a Auckland NIX final fixture!!
I'll take that! Now the game is over can say I was so so nervous the more the commentators were talking and as it went on. But honestly I'll take that win!

All Greenie has done is gone back to basics - compact, when you get the ball you take a breath and look up for options, hard runners up front.
That's all we needed. We have the qualities, just the tactics were gash before and every player was confused. Every player looks like they're on the same page now.
Rufer was brilliant today. One of the best games I've ever seen from him. When he trusts the players behind him, he plays so much better.
Even Josh was good..
The one game in about 10 years I couldn't go to at AAMI Park! I was the curse

Which players can we keep? We’ve got Bill. Rami decides to play his best game.
That’s composure from our imports where Bill and LBS didn’t quite have it today.
Farkn love football! If you’re a Nix fan celebrate the f out of this. This is a great moment.

Excellent all round. Particularly pleased for Alex Rufer - those who knock him need to give themselves an uppercut. And Oluweyemi looking more and more solid.
Eze - in my mind as good as we've ever had up front. 00

Agree going to be so PO if the rumors are true and the club let him go without a wimper

Surely Greenacre can't let that happen. He's irreplaceable without using a VISA and maybe even then.
Can’t get a McCleods, but there’s been a few beers sitting there waiting: IMG_9999.jpeg4.36 MBCouldn’t do the Ohanami parties with sick kids, but there’s a Premium Yebisu too if this one needs some follow up!
Good craft brewer. Good distribution and focused on having some good flagship beers to build around. Not trying too much too quick.
Ise is a nice place to visit too. Went there on a nice trip with the kids. Everywhere is still remembering the buzzy times of the 80s, and has lots of places built then!
Seems like my chocolate fueled optimism wasn’t misplaced after all! Only caught the second half but I couldn’t believe my eyes, we absolutely dominated them, at AAMI park! Wild, the world may be ending, but fuck, the nix won again in Melbourne. So much of what was missing all season was evident and on display today. Thank you greenie. Thanks for putting a bit of pride back in the badge. Hope it doesn’t end there, as we’ve given ourselves a chance and if it doesn’t happen, well I hope we’ve seen a glimpse of what’s to come. That’s the nix we know and love. Happy Easter Nix fans!
Also, what a goal. Great take by Eze and then a great finish. It’s always better off the post, isn’t it? 😍💛🖤

Excellent result. Huge ups for Greenacre. Hes taken a broken confused dishearted team and turned them into winners. And hes done it by reinstalling belief, by getting tactics right and getting pride back in the Nix shirt. He 100% should get the job fulltime. Let him chose the players he wants to build a squad for next season. We now have the women finishing second and the men picking up 10 points in the last four matches Isnt it amazing how you can get success by actually appointing people with extensive football experiance into key coaching positions.
Hopefully as they build confidence they’ll convert a couple more of those chances. A win, a clean sheet, and when we went in front late we kept playing. I can’t recall that happening ever previously
Still three games to go but in my mind Greenacre is fully deserving of a contract at this point. When Chief left it felt like the season was over yet here we are, actually hopeful of a top 6 finish. To break an 8-9 year curse is no small feat either, I just think it's only right

Been following the team for around 3 years now and I can confidently say this is best i've ever felt after a game. It sucks being a wellington fan in auckland but they've given me something to be happy about recently, really hope that can continue. Haven't felt this good after a win since the surman winner in 24. How good. Coyn :)
