I am so pumped for this. I’m gonna lose my voice 

Writing down talking points for team and coaches:
"Just another game, we take game by game, nothing special, three points like every other game, we do our normal training and game plan"
And one for D. Dome:
"This is the biggest game of season, we need support from the fans, we are fighting with everything we have, we are so pumped, large crowds, biggest sporting event since the Womans World Cup"

Bought ours last night. managed to coax another one and PAX was 2233. Really hope the weather forecast changes mind...

One wants to protect his players and keep them focused, one is a fan who also wants to make a return on his investment.

I see no issue with either stance.

Has the club ever done a partnership with the hurricanes like a one ticket gets you in to both games? Could be a good idea this weekend with both playing big games

Goodness me.  You cannot have sensible suggestions like that.  Whatever will they think of next

Does the club still own a minority stake in the hurricanes or did they sell it?

Can you get up to the big concrete slab as I call it (the long bridge to the stadium) from any other points further north side other than the train station, waterfront stairs or the stairs off Thorndon quay? You can walk into the carpark. 
There’s both stairs and a ramp in there.

Is that kinda where you were meaning?

There is nothing over the railway, except way down near the station.

There is nothing over the railway, except way down near the station.

No you can't, as the only way to get in further north is from the waterfront and the carpark but you have to cross the railway lines to do that. The closest way to get onto the walkway from where you are is at the start of thorndon quay by the railway station.

Thats another crap thing about the stadium. They talked about putting shops or indoor sports up there. Or walkways across to that area etc. 

99% sure Victory will be without Teague, Valadon, & Velupillay for this one because the U23 Asia Cup kicks off on the 16th at 1am. I rate Teague and I imagine Bonevacia will come in for his first start.

Roly put in a decent 2nd half shift last weekend, and he was his usual direct dynamic self.  Good to see him back in A-League.  Yet another proof of WelNix pioneering recruitment efforts from far and wide places.

Looking like tomorrow night will be a classic Wind, Rain, Phoenix game.

 I'm not sure if they'll start Bonevacia tbh. A midfield 3 of Brimmer, Bonevacia and Machach is surely too attacking. I'm guessing it'll be Chapman or Monge to replace Teague.

That is a good question.  With Teague and especially Velupillay away they still need to support Fornaroli upfront.

Now raining here in Christchurch, but it is quite warm.  Hope the system moves past Wellington by tomorrow night.  Hope the kitman packed the correct cleats this time.

I’m sure no matter the rainfall tomorrow we will still see the groundsmen excessively watering the pitch.

And I am still hurting when I remember the Jets beating us three nil on our home turf.

Adelaide have really picked up the last few weeks - they could sneak a win against CCM.

They're probs favorites for the bookies too as we haven't beaten them in the last 5 meetings which is a surprise given how bad they were last season. 
I remember that game here last season where we were dominating them till they scored their first goal and we conceded both goals off corners.
