Our high line been found wanting a couple of times, but to counter that, the Jets have absolutely no midfield.

This game is going to test the blood pressure.

Great shot from Armiento - unfortunately it was a great save too

Smith, James and LKH would be a scary backline you’d think we’d be dangerous from set pieces and good at defending them with those 3

Woeful finishing.

Three for me, and two for them.

This highline is a nightmare.
A good side would have scored 5.
Keeper is keeping us in it,plus crap shooting.

an issue for some of the chances we have conceded (apart from giving the ball away) is our midfield having to cover for balls in behind after Jets have gone out wild. Its a lot of work for our midfield.

We had 3 players in the box and no one near where Delianov palmed that.

Poor from Eze to not hold his run there

Thought he might get it first time using Piper as a decoy.

Edit: too late for make up calls now Alex!

It almost looks like LKH has found a bit of extra speed.
Piper is being a handful

No-one here. Everyone heading to the beach from what i saw. today is wellingtons summer,I think...

In fairness I think there might just be more here than at the national league final yesterday. That's if you count the stadium staff as well.

how do you rate the playing standard compared to yesterday?

the length of time refs wait until they blow for offside is nerve-racking and must piss of the defence having to do shuttle sprints all the time for no reason.

I know he's still a bit of a giraffe waiting to get into full stride, but in a middling season for us so far LKH has actually been really good.

Put some muscle on that frame and he'd be a bloody nightmare to come up against down the line.

Really entertaining game. Staggering no one has scored.

There may be critics of the high line, but it makes it exciting to watch.

It’s also great seeing a partner for Eze up front.

Well done Chief for setting that up

Auckland will rise once more

And again. Someone sort the muppet out.
Different ethnicities, ages, positions and roles in the game. Not very difficult.

Armineto’s delivery hasn’t been good enough.

Still- Piper and Eze sort it out and we’ll score 6! And Armiento for that matter. We don’t know where we are.

Could happen

It is Loke who has allowed somebody to get in behind our defense on his side again and again and again today. He is fine on the ball but needs to sort this out

Yeah don’t think he has the athleticism to get up and down quick enough in that RWB role but moving Sheridan there we’ll have to Munro and Smith at the back which is very inexperienced

I can't decide what's worse, the defending or the finishing. And that applies to both teams.

This could be the bottom two come end of season.

Jets chances really coming from turnovers only at the moment. If we were a bit more tidy with possession in our defensive third, Jets wouldn't have had many chances.

somehow nil nil! entertaining half.

jets with more and better chances, but their finishing is powder puff.

Entertaining 1st half. Pretty equal, could go both ways in the 2nd half.

Both hopeless. Sadly

Our front 3, Armiento and Rufer need to get introduced at half time.

Eze not completely settled out wide.

If we’re guna be greedy let’s beat the keeper a few times.

I don’t wanna jinx anyone so I’ll hold back on other praise…

Be interesting to see how Chief v Milligan (and King) goes from here.

Come on Phoenix! Let’s go!

8 shots a piece. Nix shots on 5 v 3.
Delianov and Smith the two big saves so far.

Josh has done well again this game.

Has figured out when to come and stay with this high line and makes his decisions quickly.

Auckland will rise once more

I’m enjoying it. It’s great to see the nix kick the ball forward and get in positions to take shots.

It’s nice to see that despite the players/coach/injuries/crowd/management (delete as applicable) we can play with intent to win
