With Firefox, when I click the bookmark to the homepage I'm not logged in, however when I go to the log in page, I'm already logged in and get an error, 'you don't have access to do this' or some such. Not critical but annoying. Also happens when I come here after clicking a link in an email. Also I've said this already a few days ago, but the emails are pretty much spam now as the info in them is pointless.

When I'm viewing posts in a topic is there any way to go back to the sub-menu (eg Phoenix Discussion) without having to click on 'Forum' again and go through the menus again?

Using Firefox

Edit: If I click on the 'new' message box there's no menu tree at the top (nor is there one after I create a post or edit one) but if I read the posts by clicking the topic name then there's a menu tree. Would be good if it appears when selecting new messages. Site is looking better every day tho - cheers!

+1 with the sub-menu.

Just noticed difference in placing links in your text with new posts. I try and avoid posting long hyperlinks addys.Hard to see a link as there's no underlining visible. Unless you mouse over it's easy to miss. It does appear in the pre-post box funnily enough just doesn't render the same once you save the post.I use Firefox, tried it in Chrome but same result. Ended up bolding the link as well.

Just an observation mind...all part of our evolution..thank you for restraining the upgrade beast until season's end! Bless.

Once we get the Vanilla going can we upgrade to Hokey Pokey please?..I'm Keen.

I'm having alot of problems with explorer - the forum page is blank and the whole website seems to constantly refresh.  So am posting from another computer.  Might switch to chrome I guess. At least I've manage to update my avatar.

I've noticed that when I don't login and am merely a lurker, you don't see some of the posts of the threads that have been updated.  I only figured it when I posted a few things, and when I logged out they didn't feature, but reappeared when I logged in?   Is anyone else finding this?

It had taken me nearly 2 and half years to get 86 posts, and almost graduated to part-timer (which I think is 100), now I've been docked 50 and it looks like I'll be a trainee for abnother 2 years.

Yes. This quirk had baffled as I was sure that I remembered a certain thread had been commented upon several times yet the thread was listed as being untouched for days. I began to wonder if i was losing it. All part of the fun of upgrading though, eh?

With all due gratitude to the tech. staff; Let us resolve to never again try to improve anything that works well enough as is.

I am enjoying the new site though!!

I've found that I've had to do a force refresh (Ctrl-F5) instead of just a normal refresh to get new forum posts and the active topics page to update. Guessing it's something to do with the way the site cache's itself.

If you are having problems viewing updated topics, try that.

Thanks Patrick, will give that a go.  I was finding that I had missed some of the news stories on the home page appearing until I had logged in too.

I also couldn't vote in the poll.

This was happening for me too. I decided that I'd wait for all the issues to be sorted before getting active on here again because trying to find posts was impossible. Read your comment and sorted my login and sure enough it's all good now.

I miss the delete button, when i've posted twice in error or posted when someone's said the exact same thing moments before my post.

When you click on a link in a post it doesn't open in a new window and have to click back to return to YF

Yeah, its annoying but it only happens from within the forum itself. Clicking on a News story opens in a new tab.

Is this a settings issue, or just another reason to hate this forum?
