Reports say that the AW's will fly out straight out of Denver the evening of the match and via quite a few conections land in Adelaide 36 hours before the Oz game.....big ask for the lads but I am sure the lads will be fired up.

Shame we will have SFA prep against OZ. We need to get stuck into them.....this will not be a friendly. Can't really play the newbys against Mexico and rest the big guns for Oz either. It will be a major test of the depth of the squad......can't wait!!

Tough travel ask let alone oppostion ask..assume most of squad woul have to be non A league based as they would be out of fitness?  Presents opportunities and challenges...

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Denver is at reasonable altitude also - approx. 1500 metres above sea level.

About the same as we played in South Africa.

Yes, for which we trained at altitude in Austria for a couple of weeks, and then didn't fly to Adelaide the day after.

I'm going.

I stayed at Our House backpackers for the Nix playoff, which was really central and affordable. I'm not doing the dorm thing again though this time!

No luck with the Swedish backpacker then?

Are you going to make sure the Smiggle shop hasn't re-opened?

Unfortunately not! Hard to bring a girl back to your top bunk in a room you share with 10 others. Oh well, always June 5...

Any action I did or did not take against the Smiggle on Rundle Mall was/would have been in vain anyway. At least little Marco will be able to do some souvenir shopping before the AW game.

So is anyone still doing the Denver game?

I just realised this game will be during queens birthday weekend. Awesome. Can we safely assume sky will show these games?

We can safely assume they will show the Australia game, because of the deal they have with Fox Sports. I have no clue about the Mexico game though.

We could have played 5 matches in the last 3 international windows but didn't.
It's better to play teams like Indonesia than not playing!
Last 2011 FIFA date is on the 11th of november.
Anyone knows if we're going to arrange any match?Stormpark942011-10-22 03:45:13

No idea just yet. Would be good to get that game against Japan back on track though. Also if a game were scheduled for our new 30,000 seater (thanks NZ taxpayer) I'd be f**king wrapped.
