All Whites Ticket Waitlist - Ticket Angst

In my experience, Ticketek "only" seem to be at home to Captain Cockup with the Nix season tickets. For other events - and I've had plenty of experience - I've found them better than Ticketmaster. Both make the odd mistake, but when it came to remedies Ticketmaster seemed to go silent and ignore me (even forcing a venue to step-in and comp me out of their own pocket), whereas Ticketek refunded and gave me replacement tickets. (Actually, they accidentally refunded me twice, but I'm going to complain about that!)

they should provide those TRUMPETS that you hear at the games like at the confederations cup. Would be nice to create that atmosphere at the cake tin!!!

They ruined the confed cup for me.  Had to listen with the sound right down.  Word is they are allowed at the World Cup next year too.

I dare someone to sit behind me and try to blow one.  Ooh pardon.

So confuzzled right now...

Guys, I'm coming over for this game as a NZer & as a SFC supporter in Dec for the game against the Phoenix in Palmy. (I've done one away trip per Phoenix season so far).

As I'm an active vocal supporter on our away matches I'd go nuts being stuck next to people who would want to have those f**king South African Air Horns & not being in amongst the Vocal Supporters of the National Team.

So can someone PLEASE tell me what Bay I should be asking for?
I've looked through this thread but it's left me a bit confused about the Bay you guys are looking at.

Fever Zone - Aisle 21. Technically speaking between Aisles 21 and 22.

Work apparently going on to expand the zone a bit more for the AWs game, but no confirmation yet.

Ta.
I didn't realize the Cake Tin was grouped by aisle numbers.

Its more asround the fact that we are taking a big-ish group up from out of welly, and that takes quite a bit of organising, we also want to sit in a designated fan type area, We find out that tickets are on sale today yesterday afternoon. hardly gives us time to sort stuff does it, so what will end up happneing is we will be strewen across several ailes. also there is a tiny fever/fan zone and whats say you wait to get that but then miss out on friday, and end up sitting in some useless area with the casual fans cos all the decent tickets are gone.

So for the communication, why not give us a heads up a few weeksn in advance and make them avalible for all at the same time. There is 6 pages of ppl asking wtf is going on so im not alone.

Zone confirmed as two aisles, if it sells out in a hurry and I would be surprised if it does on Friday, then we'll talk up people buying in the next aisles over.

We'll all be standing anyway so people nearby can probably squeeze in quite easily.

Alright folks, the official word is as follows:

1, The Zone (two aisles) can not be purchased until Friday.
2, You will only be able to purchase in there utilising a link that will be on the Fever on Friday.
3, At this stage the first aisle will fill before the second starts being sold so if you want to be in the 'main' fever aisle get in quick.

It would be FANTASTIC to sell out both aisles Friday so people need to have a rethink about extending the zone.

Tickets for adults will be $39 and $29, with children $19 and $14. They go on sale to the public next week.

From article on Stuff.

So only those who use the link on Friday can get tickets in the Zone? We can't go into the Ticketek office to ask for tickets in the Zone?

And no prefernce given to Phoenix season members to get their regular seats either I take it (which they do for Wellington Lions/All Blacks tickets).

News, I hate to repeat myself and be annoying, but you seem to be the man in the know, are we going to be able to buy a big block of tickets (20 or so) using that link? Like The Thinker, I've got about 10 friends coming from AKL and would be great to be sitting together

1, There is no Phoenix related offer - remember that (unlike the Lions and all Rugby that is owned by the NZRFU) the Phoenix are not an NZ Football organisation but privately owned and affiliated to the Football Federation of Australia..
2, You will be able to buy in the zone from a Ticketek office next week when general sale starts (is my understanding)
3, Yes Captain, as many as you want... but if people want to 'sit' then they won't want to be in the zone.

If you want preferential booking for a Socceroos game (disturbingly) the Phoenix can help.

That is pretty terrible, the Socceroo ticket situation

And don't worry, anyone in my group who wants to sit will be left at the front gate.

Appreciate the effort you guys have gone to News, brilliant stuff

The FFA take all Phoenix members and add them to the 'football family' mailing list, we all get spammed by the FFA.  I even still get them from when I was on the Knights list...

...the club don't like it much either.

Will wait until next week.. will allow me to break the news gently to She Who Must Be Obeyed.
Like the idea that the White Noise could occupy a few more aisles but will probably take the kids a bit further away!

Anyway by then we'll have learned most of the FZ chants so could help out from distance!
