Reddy is only prone to an off game every once in a while, like alot of keepers in the A-League. He is definatly equal to Moss, if not better.

Don't worry, perhaps next year I will create a thread for Paston.

That was Morocco, beat Scotland 3-0.

Coincidentally, Morocco was also in Mexico in 1986 together with Algeria.el grapadura2009-10-14 20:23:35

If it is a 0-0 draw, then it goes to extra time and the away goals would not count in extra time. Any draw after ET, then it goes to penalties.

Are you sure about this? The only competition where this rule applies I can think of used to be the League Cup in England, and I'm not sure even if they still do it.

Generally in FIFA and UEFA competitions, the away goals in extra time count as they do in the regulation time.

Agree this is cruical and that the postings of AllWhiteBeliever/timmymaddern/Liverpoolfan1 quoting the FIFA WC2010 regs give the definitive answer: AWAY GOALS IN EXTRA TIME WILL NOT COUNT AS DOUBLE

Yeah but the meaning of that rule was kind of open to interpretation. It did look like that was the case, but the wording is pretty hazy, and if someone were to interpret it the other way i certainly wouldn't blame them.

Waiting on that definitive yes or no answer.

Allegedly

Follow the logic - it's definitive

It's not definitive - it seems like an email someone fired off without thinking what they were writing.

The first clue is the use of the phrase "away goals will count double" - they don't. They're simply a tie-breaker.

So I don't exactly believe that email.

Once and for all........AWAY GOALS DO NOT COUNT DOUBLE IN EXTRA TIME.

Confirmed by FIFA and NZF.

If it's 0-0 at full-time and 1-1, 2-2 etc after extra-time, it's penalties.

Any other contenders?

Maybe , there are facilities from Bahrain Air for fans wishing to attend, I will decide after a week, and I understand that there is union of Bahraini students studying in New Zealand are conducting a campaign to mobilize the Arab students in New Zealand.
I wish to attend, depending on the circumstances of my work.
Thank you brother

It would be magnicient if there's a full aisle of Bahrain supporters at this game - would really add to the occasion.

But not around 1000?

That would be great to see a decent blob of red in a sea of white.

Would be nice in A-League matches too so we could get some "friendly" banter/chants going.

I hope and pray we don't try to go for 0-0 and ET. Win in 90 has to be first and only option.....doesn't it????

So when would be a good time for Ricki to use his "power play" option?
